It took a while for me to learn the ins and outs of software. A lot of YouTube videos provided me with the knowledge of software. The software is amazing, has a lot of useful tools. It just takes a lot of time to get use to it.

Pros

I like how effective it is and how helpful is can be once you are familiar with the software.

Cons

It is not beginner friendly and it is hard to use if you not familiar with it.

Pros

The automation functionality, such as moving subscribers from one list to another based on the action they take. Everything is 'live' and current.

Cons

I think it is a bit overpriced and a bit more difficult to use than previous email marketing software I've used. Just a learning process.

I love it. From the moment I signed up, the customer experience has been phenomenal. I've felt informed throughout my entire experience with ActiveCampaign. It's inspired me to look at my own customer experience and improve my communication!

Pros

I love how in-depth the analytics captured are on ActiveCampaign. It's quick to identify dead ends and valuable leads, which is a huge time and money saver!

Cons

I would love more integration features and capabilities with my current (Lite) plan. For example, I would like to be able to connect my e-commerce platform with my ActiveCampaign but unfortunately, I'd have to upgrade my account. (I'm not at a place where I need to upgrade just yet.)

Pros

It's easy to send out emails which are timed for specific days. I can write what I need for the week and automate the process.

Cons

The learning curve. Would like to have videos on how to construct emails using different templates

I loved the easy process of creating and launching an email marketing campaign on the platform. The ease to create different automation was also really appreciated.

Cons

I didn't like the UI. For the most popular email marketing platform, the UI leaves much to be desired. I also don't like the pricing. Too expensive for its value.

I have really enjoyed it and I'm excited to see what else I can do with it to grow my business.

Pros

The onboarding training was key! They are very knowledgeable and fun to work with. I can set my customers on a path and not have to stay on top of it. Education is very important with our service and this give me the ability to keep my customers engaged.

It takes some training to really get what you want out of it

Overall I am very satisfied with ActiveCampaign. It's been over two years since I use it without problem. I don't use all of its many features but for me it's perfect. Very easy to use.

Pros

This software is very easy to use and to understand even for a beginner. The dashboard is very good. Now it's totally in french (and the help too). I like the automation system which is very complete and easy. This software is often updates with new features. The affiliate program is a good point too.

Cons

I think that the application on smartphone could be improve with more features (create campaigns, manage the automations...)

Immediate usage when switching from a competing software, quick import of lists and easily able to send emails. Drip campaigns and automation very intelligible and simple to implement.

Pros

The ability to quickly use templatized designs and simple list creation help to make this an immediately useful tool for automatic emails.

Cons

As a more experienced coder, I do find things a bit restrictive in being able to edit the templates with HTML tweaks - necessitating the forethought in using HTML "blocks" rather than flexible options to see both WYSIWYG and HTML within the same pieces of a design.

Active campaign offers many possibilities with features. easy to use all this with a very attractive price

Cons

the software is not flawless and contains many bugs such as ending up with undelivered e-mails if your software does not do the one click. good luck canceling your membership after an annual purchase

From the outside looking in it looked great and decided to get on board. We were blown away by the level of customer service. We had a nice girl take us step by step through what we needed to know most over several sessions and then she pointed us int he direction of how we get more support should we think we need it. Highly recommend.

Pros

There are so many options (which at first is overwhelming) that we are getting ideas for sales, marketing and customer retention that we just didn't think of before.

Cons

If you're just looking for a simple software to send bulk emails this is not for you. It'll take time to learn the software but 100% worth the investment in time and money with the return you will get.

As easy to use as other products I've used in the past. Easy to import contacts and no requirement for double opt-in. Loved the email drag and drop function.

Cons

The Lite version doesn't have as much functionality as other software. It's also quite pricey. Dissatisfied that CNAME function is only for upgraded levels.

I don't have to worry about it as it churns away in the background. I don't change things in it that often, so what it does for me works.

Pros

The customer support. If I have a question, I can send it through and someone answers fairly quickly and gives advice in a way I can understand.

Cons

I'm not a tech person, so I had to have someone else set this up. I still find some of the ways to go about doing things counterintuitive.

Some features are hidden within other features making them difficult to find or lead a client to.

Nurturing leads has never been so easy. The way Activecampaign seamlessly bridges together emails, forms, and deal pipelines has empowered me to have so much more visibility into how my emails are performing, who and how people are engaging with them, provide clear and automated opportunities for potential customers to engage further, and then automatically add people straight to different lead pipelines based on their level of readiness. From there I can add custom fields, add any tags or info I need to remember info about people, create tasks to followup (or notes for other team members) and create email automations based on their behaviors.

Cons

The email & form design capabilities are very limited. This system excels in performance and process (and is quite user-friendly) but lacks the level of design I would like.

Easy to use, great and necessary tool for my business. I've used other similar softwares and active campaign definitely offers the best way to get the job done IMO.

Pros

the automations and the sequences you can do with this software are incredibly useful.

Cons

I don't like that it has a tiered payment system based on # of contacts you have. So the bigger my list gets the more I have to pay, but it's not like i'm getting added benefits.
