It might not be able to compete with something like InfusionSoft/Keap for features and more complicated execution, but my guess is 90% of businesses don't need that level of execution. Pros I am not a heavy user of email campaigns and automations, but I have been frustrated with other products. Either they don't have a reasonable price point for the occasional user, or they're overly complicated and have tons of features I don't need. AC is streamlined and priced in a way that makes sense for my purposes, and it was easy to navigate without being an expert in email automation. Cons I initially hoped I would be able to build landing pages here, but unless I've missed it, that is not an option. However, I am able to build simple landing pages myself and it just pushed me to go that route. Connecting the form there was easy enough. The email builder is easy to use and I have used a lot of the pre-designed templates. The training is fantastic, I am still very much in the learning phase but overall pleased with how much I have achieved in a short space of time. ActiveCampaign was so good, and so intuitive to use that it has become the one tool when it comes to email and automations that we recommend our students to use. I'm not particularly a great tech person and even I can use AC with ease. I particularly enjoy that for our students, instead of having to re-create all the steps and automation that they can simply download the automation straight to their account. Cons After 6 months, I'm still trying to find a con. My team might have a few, but from my experience it is brialliant. I mean, my 10 year old brother can do it. Also, the ability to pass in dynamic fields and conditions into email is gold. Cons Not being able to specify our own custom SMTP server was nearly a deal breaker for the team. With Activecampaign, you're stuck using theirs. Pros Affordable and good value for money compared to alternatives in terms of how it can integrate with Salesforce. I like the 'Advanced Search' features with highly filterable values. Cons The integration with Salesforce was rather easy to implement but we feel the two-way integration could improve and be more granular. Integration with GoogleSheets could be better. The emails are getting to the right people, at the rigth time with the rigth messege. becouse we can see patterns of behavior trough the tracking Cons The learning curve its kind of long, but in comparasion with other tools that do the same its pretty easy. Altoough it has multiple channels for customer sopport, sometines they take too long in giving you an aswer (specially the live chat). Also, I would like if they had more predesign email templates. My emails look professional, and when there are challenges customer support responds immediately to help me. Pros I like that I can automate mail sequences, that I can track metrics per campaign, and that it's easy to edit formatting, etc in each email or campaign I send. Cons I haven't yet figured out how to best track who writes me in response to a campaign via ActiveCampaign. I believe there are a lot of features that I don't fully understand and don't know what could serve me best. Some more guidance here would be super helpful. I also wish I could create landing pages within ActiveCampaign to connect to my website to make signups even simpler. It's easy to use also. Pros I switched to Activecampaign after my former email service provider made some changes. I chose Activecampaign based on a recommendation, and I'm glad I did. I have an automation that I wanted to transfer, and the customer service helped me do just that. They also have a ton of training videos and a complimentary 30-minute one-on-one session for any questions. Subscribers are also counted once even if they're on multiple lists. Cons The price. It's a bit steep. But I'm hoping I'll take full advantage of that as I'll be making more complex automations and growing my email list.
