We were searching for a POS system that could give us a wide range of reports plus be very easy to use for our clerks. We had always thought that POS systems required a lot of money and a lot of intensive labor. When we saw POS Prophet Systems we were shocked with what we could get for our money. We put no money down and just started making monthly payments. The on-site training was very helpful and detailed. We now have a state-of-the-art POS System for a low monthly payment. We run our credit cards through the software (it's PCI compliant) and POS Prophet Systems even stores our data for us so we do not need an expensive server. I highly recommend this software solution for its cutting-edge technology and the people behind it. Thanks POS Prophet for helping our family business during these tough times. The support services and ease of use enabled us to get up and running quickly. The tracking and reporting features helped us to provide the controls and information reporting that had been lacking at the facility. After several years of satisfaction with the performance and service that we received with the Proshopkeeper product, we were please to find out that POS Prophet also had a general retail POS product. In 2009, we were looking for a POS product that would enable the city to automate our Brooksby Farm store. The city owns and operates a working orchard/farm and we needed to implement the same reporting and controls at the Farm as we did at the Meadow. We reviewed many POS systems and had several POS grocery systems demos, but none had the same flexibility, ease of use, and value as POS Prophet Systems. We worked closely with Sean Connors and his staff to configure, implement and install the system in approximately 60 days. Since we were already familiar with the functionality and features of the software we were able to have golf course personnel work with Farm management on training and setup. The support staff at POS Prophet combined with our own information technology staff to set up and complete a smooth migration to our new POS system client and server. Over the years there have been very few glitches or problems with the software; it just runs and runs. Credit cards process instantly and if price changes or inventory adjustments are needed they can be done quickly and securely. We are going on our 7th year relying on POS Prophet System products to run our City Enterprises and look forward to the continued enhancements and upgrades that POS Prophet provides. PS. We met POS Prophet Systems at a Trade Show and were instantly impressed. As a start-up, we had a blank canvas and could decide on a multitude of POS options, including traditional software vs. cloud computing. After surveying the market, Sean and his team were the only company out there that could put together a solution that worked for our business. As a retail that sells all their items in "kits" ($8 each or 3 for $20 as example) we needed a system that wouldn't required a cashier's manual intervention to generate the appropriate discount after each transaction. While many companies claimed to have the ability to do this, only POS Prophet actually was able to execute this for us! The relationship has been terrific ever since. Start up, training, troubleshooting and credit card interfacing were all handled efficiently, professionally and with a lot of patience. Customer support is very efficient and all calls are handled without delay. When searching for a POS solution, I would highly recommend POS Prophet Systems.
