The ability to query data and create reports proved invaluable. Its an older product, but still very useful. Pros The flexibility to capture data and design a database application for reporting purposes. Very useful for filtering data in queries that can be saved and reused on a regular basis. The dbase language is fairly easy to use and understand if you are familiar with databases and how to relate tables for queries and reports. Cons It requires an understanding of relational databases to effectively use the software. Pros It is very fast and reliable and includes a programming language dBL Cons It does get slower when working with big data. The training for non DB users is not very easy.
