I used it on the management of an aquatic center and it's definetly a solution for laborwork organization. I always loved the option of exchanging shifts with coworkers and making sure I where I had to work. Just loved it!

Pros

Real time updates Community building between workers Great options to exchange shifts and comunications

Cons

Net very easy to use from your android device but it's still ok

Pros

WhenToWork makes it very easy to schedule employees. It allows them to pick-up shifts, trade easily with other employees and plan accordingly.

Cons

From a visual perspective, it's not the most modern or appealing software. However, from a functional perspective, it accomplishes the tasks it needs to.

I have been using When to Work for 8+ years for scheduling per diem shifts for an urgent care. It is very easy to use and can be accessed from any mobile or desktop device.

Cons

There actually isn't any feature that I dislike or have had any trouble with using

Pros

I have been using WhenToWork as a lifeguard for my local recreation center. It always alerts me by email my schedule for the coming week with the dates and times. It also has a feature with names, numbers and emails of your co-workers to get in contact with them.

Cons

I don't like how the supervisor has to approve of shifts you pick up for other co-workers before you can actually start their shift.

Pros

This product helped as a tool to reserve rooms and schedule employees. We made it work for multiple things

Cons

Volunteers could not be easily added or distinguished from Staff using this software

Up to date shifts for work.

Pros

Great for scheduling employee shifts. Very easy to use. Employees can log into from phone or home to check schedules, changes shifts, etc. Load employees numbers and they can text and ask to trade shifts. Manager will have to approve any shift changes.

Cons

A lot of data at first, and can be somewhat confusing to employees. Really good took once you mess with it.

WhenToWork is a great software to keep track of your work schedule. It has many functions within it where you can trade shifts with people, view your future schedule, message coworkers and get their contact information. I enjoy that their is also a phone app for it as well.

Cons

This software is a little hard to use initially, but once you get the hang of it then it is easier.

I enjoy using WhenToWork for my small team. Super simple to implement and easy to update schedules weekly.

Pros

WhenToWork is easy to use and quick to implement. I use this for my small team (6-10 people) intern team. The staff members didn't have any issues using the software to check schedules, trade shifts, etc.

Cons

My team members have set schedules weekly with very little change - I wish I was able to assign a reoccurring shift without creating a new weekly schedule.

Pros

WhenToWork frees up time for management. typically, we would have to take quite a long time putting together employee schedules. With this software, our time is significantly shortened.

Cons

There are some limitations in regard to functionality. Overall, they do not adversely affect the product.

I really loved the product. I just wished it wasn't something that required a subscription.

Pros

Really loved the way the app works. It makes it so much easier to manage your work schedule as an employee. The manager section is full of useful features. Specially the ability to see who is on the schedule for the day and being able to send urgent txt messages to all staff. This second feature is invaluable when you have an employee that calls out or you all of the sudden need any additional staff. Really solid web based product

Cons

I wish this wasn't subscription based. Because its always harder to justify subscription based applications specially if the only use is to create and manage schedules. Also I wish it had a way to be used offline. Also having the ability to print out a single page monthly schedule would be nice.

Our company was ready to move from the manual creation each month of a staff schedule. As well as the need to communicate to everyone any changes made. With this software we are able to achieve that and it has been very beneficial.

Pros

Ease of access to my schedule as well as other staff members. The ability to request days off and /or trade days is very easy with the software.

Cons

The confirmation request to your schedule sent out each time there is an update to the general schedule can be a bit much.

Overall, Whentowork seemed like a great software. It was pretty easy to use, I just needed a bit more features for such a high volume of staff!

Pros

I accidentally signed up for this software thinking it was another one that was similarly named, however, it was a decent software. It has a lot of potential! Scheduling my employees was easy and they could access their schedule from home as soon as I updated it

Cons

A bit more features would be nice, especially for the price. Having an integrated timeclock, vacation time and sick leave, etc. would be some great added features! I believe this would be an extremely useful product with those items included

Pros

\-can access your work schedule from anywhere and in a easy to find location -easy to put up “trade slips” if you can’t work a shift -everyone is on the same page

Cons

\-everyone has to download the app and know how to use all its functions for it to work right -can access from a computer and a smart phone app very easily

Easy to use. Can color code employees to make the schedule easier to read.

Cons

Credit card security is lacking. Resets current schedule almost like a refresh and makes you start over.

Pros

The user interface improved while I used it and I liked the visualization to help with scheduling. It allowed for you to paint the different priorities which was very helpful.

Cons

This may have been improved but when proposing trades, it would have been more helpful to see users that preferred or frequently wanted those shifts.

The main benefit would be having all scheduling conversations, requests, trades, etc all in one location. No random text messages or phone requests. It all goes on WhentoWork and easy to keep track of.

Pros

The most appreciated feature on WhentoWork would be for the staff to request and approve their own trades. This feature makes it much easier than management trying to find coverage. We also love how easy it is to use colors for quick glances on who is working when.

Cons

The only con when using WhenoWork is the busyness of the main page. Many options on views and such are a bit overwhelming to navigate through - especially when we rarely use more than 5 functions.
