It was during the pandemic times so it really spared me a lot of delay in my life by allowing me to continue my studies online and complete my degree eventually, regardless of the pandemic restrictions. It is easy to understand, it is convenient and it works well. Pros What I liked most was how convenient it was. April 1, 2024 5.0 Pros We love our business relationship with our account manager—he handles things timely and understands our schools and their needs. Creating/uploading a course has gotten very simple. Integration with WooCommerce was a breeze. We love being able to customize the platform for our brands. We use Workspace and the regular Cloud Moodle. Workspace to supplement our programs with in-person training and Cloud Moodle for our online/live webinar continuing education courses. Cons Regular support with Moodle can take a while, especially with the back-and-forth emailing. They are not very proactive to jump on a call and figure it out together. Integrating into the business was easy, however with unannounced downtime particularly during submissions poses a major challenge for students and administrators. Cons The performance is sometimes lagging probably because of server contention that might not be related to the software platform itself. But still more evaluation and testing should be considered before assessing the source of the bottleneck. Another point to highlight is that it has an extensive community that helps to develop teaching ideas being able to adapt the contents in a more efficient way.Highlighting that you can add content created in html and scorm format which allows you to develop better courses. Cons What I liked most about Moodle was its flexibility and customization. The platform allows instructors to tailor it to the specific needs of their course, which makes learning more effective and relevant.Although Moodle offers many useful features, there is also one thing that needs to be worked on is that it has a linear structure which can sometimes cause the student to lose a bit of interest, so the teacher will need to make the content engaging for the student. Even though the platform is outdated, it does serve its purpose. Pros We had different courses and learning materials from different teachers, so the platform was definitely expansive for students who are unable to process information quickly in class for them to be able to review the lesson in the comfort of their own space. The platform served its purpose, and as learners we were proud to be the first users in our district to be using a Learning systems management platform, and with little training, the students were able to navigate the platform seamlessly. Cons The user interface could do with some upgrading, the platform even though it serves its purpose, it is quite outdated and doesn't correlate with the technology/ software of today. Moodle was easy to navigate and lessons were clearly taught in an interactive manner. Assignments were submitted and returned back to learner with promtly and communications were not distorted all through the use. Pros Ease of deployment and access to learners, making learning fun and interactive and the assessent of student work timely and clear. Cons password authentication could be tedious at the start , but was later rectified. It had a recent update and now even personal organization of the dashboard is possible through selection of preffered tools and their order. Everything I need for the lectures is there: - dashboard of lectures, exams and recently opened docs - teachers are uploading presentations and other useful materials - both digital classroom and exams are possible and work well - forums for questions and answers for each lecture Cons It's hard to think of a con in the functionality. Maybe an optimization can be made in the interface, it can have a bit more color or eye catching design features.
