Pros I love that I can get updates from my child's daycare on when he eats, has a diaper change, how long he naps, and activities he is participating in throughout the day. Cons I really hate when I don't get updates and the daycare staff blames it on IT issues. Not sure if it is directly related to the app or internet or user error. Pros We can generate/email invoices and track payments. It is great for allergy reports, contact lists and other data reports for children. Also easy way to email payment receipts and annual tax receipts. I particularly like the communication feature to email families individually, as a whole or a variety of sub groups. Cons Can not export data into accounting program such as Sage or Quickbooks, everything has to be entered manually. Can not produce specific report needed for attendance, have to produce manually. There seems to be more an more glitches as we use the system. Like children that can not be withdrawn from the active list. We previously used a US based software that was in no way helpful with Canadian taxation, Childcare Subsidy, etc. We get top notch service from Childcarepro with very quick response to any issues we may have. We anticipate staying with Childcarepro for many years as they meet the needs of our very large Childcare Centre (250+ registered) in scheduling, billing and data management. I would highly recommend Childcarepro to anyone who wants to be assured of accurate management of your data and in turn the safety of the children entrusted to your care.
