HSE Systems Supervisor Oil & Energy Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Guiding continuous imrpovement for safety management systems" October 9, 2025 3.0 Intelex provides a starting point for organizations to implement HSE managent systems with out-of-the-box features and allows flexibility for organizations to evolve their processes, workflows, and tools. It is a good data collection and storage tool. There have been challenges with response times and quality of responses on service and support tickets and outages, but there have been noticeable improvements over time. There are a lot of possibilities within the available applications and ways for users to enter and access their data and generate reports. Pros It is nice to be able to configure the solutions to meet the needs of the organization. The merge templates have been useful in several scenarios, and so are many of the other tools. We are excited about the document preview feature, APIs, predictive text for searching, and multidimensional hierarchy and many other of the new features that are or are becoming available. Compared to other management systems, ILX is reasonably priced and allows for many more opportunities for improvements. Cons System performance has improved, but there are still lags and delays, especially in the non-Production environments. The primary feedback we receive from users is that it takes too many clicks to get through workflows. They want to be able to navigate through the forms with ease and the way the popup windows and search functions have been in the past have been difficult for users. Cons It's aging. I look at more modern systems and want the integrated chat bot, the anyone can write SQL aids, and API connections for every table. " October 9, 2025 4.0 Overall, it's been a reasonably good implementation experience. There has been some frustration with ILX support, according to our project manager. Pros We're still in the process of implementing the software. I've been able to teach myself how to do things and I'm told it's very easy to create modules. Cons Report creation does not allow for much customization. The disconnect between the UI/UX from V6 to ACTS is apparent. They look completely different. Having to have more than one conversation about where to store equipment, for example, was frustrating. A truly integrated product would not have had that issue. Intelex has many application options which make expansion to other areas in Safety, Quality, and Environmental very easy. However, you still need to take the time to improve the existing applications being used by your organization. VP of Health & Safety Used the software for: ### "Moving from Reactive Processes to Leading Transformational Indicators" May 18, 2016 4.0 Before Intelex, the majority of Pace Industries' safety data was being recorded and tracked on paper or in Excel. We were struggling with inaccurate data, reactive processes that were time consuming and a lack of traceability and consistency. Intelex has allowed us to move from lagging indicators to leading transformational indicators more rapidly, and we're able to use the data collected to see the areas that we need to focus on prior to an incident occurring. I can easily pull up dashboards on Incidents by Root Cause, Incidents by Department, Near Miss to Incident Ratio and more. In the first two years since implementing Intelex our Incident Severity Rate saw an 85% reduction. Leveraging Intelex we've been able to reduce our OSHA Recordable Rate by 62% from 2012 to 2015, and our Workers' Compensation Dollars were reduced by $1.2 million in that same time period.
