Pros I do like the ability to manage inventory. The gripe is the the UI doesn't feel right. I'm frequently looking for ways to do the basic things that should be obvious. Pros This product is easy to use and set-up. It works great overall for tracking equipment and cost. Cons The biggest issue is price. This is very expensive versus other products. If I need to change something easy to do on the handheld device or computer. Cons When putting new items in inventory as asset tag is built it would be nice to automatically print label as completed. It does what was advertised. Pros This is a feature rich product that has a very intuitive GUI. Once it is setup and designed as needed then it is go all the way! Technical support is the primary reason I would recommend this software. Pros I like the ability to create our own labels and the ease of locating assets in the inventory (after a small learning curve). Cons I would like the software to create asset in bulk. We migrated from an on-premise install of Wasp. Support helped us migrate to the new product. AssetCloud suits our needs, but the pricing structure has caused us to consider other asset management software. Pros This is a robust product with many features. It is cloud-based - so no worries about maintaining another server on-premise. Cons Sometimes the site loads slowly or the pages need to be refreshed to show the latest changes. Searching assets needs to be improved. September 5, 2018 4.0 The help desk is very helpful ad has been able to get me to inputting the current inventory into their system. I can download the data when I find a solution I like better so there's that. Ive been having issues with their app it crashes on my newer phone but works with my older one. Pros I cant really say that there was anything that blew me away it may be a solution for other businesses but not for my purposes Cons System is very detyailed but unintuitive. By far the worst is the inability to print more than one different label type at one time. For example I want to print a large 4x3 label for the bottom of laptops, and a simple barcode with the asset name alone on it. I would have too print the large label reset the design software and redesign the second label, I was told that this "feature" will be coming soon. Review Source TC Tony C. Pros It is web-based and doesn't require installation on any infrastructure. It is secure and offers ROLE-based administration. Cons Tracking software is not as easy. We have a simple inventory/tracking/audit requirement and are considering moving it into an Excel document in the near future. Pros The product helps to manage our inventory and track/audit assets. Cons Have not discovered an easy way to assign employees (that do not have access to WASP) to audit their own assets or be notified when an audit needs to occur. Cons The part I like the least is the importing of new assets. I think I'm the one messing it up since I don't do it often, but I always seem to have issues with importing. You can easily figure out what to do without much training. Pros We went from using an excel sheet to keep up with our inventory. With Wasp we no longer have to guess what we have in inventory. Each device gets labeled and it is so much easier to keep up with devices. Cons I can't really think of any negative things about this product.
