Pros Es un ERP que creció rápidamente a finales de la década del 2000 a 2010 pero que ha ido perdiendo traccion respecto a sus competidores y ahora queda algo obsoleto. Openbravo efectivamente nació como ERP, pero desde hace unos años, no ofrecemos un sistema de este tipo, sino una solución en la nube para negocios minoristas de tamaño medio a grande, con foco principal en operaciones de tienda y de comercio unificado. Por ello ya no nos consideramos un proveedor de solución ERP y ciertas capacidades típicamente incluidas en este tipo de sistemas, no las ofrecemos. A nivel de escalabilidad, hoy servimos a clientes que pueden llegar a tener cientos de tiendas físicas e integraciones con múltiples sistemas, necesarios para una ejecución omnicanal extremo-a-extremo, como el eCommerce, plataformas de fidelización o el propio ERP de la compañía. The alternatives included mostly commercial suites such as Microsoft Navision. Although the customer was initially reluctant to use an open source product, they changed their mind when they saw other running settings, the professional support services available from Openbravo and their partners and the big flexilibity of the product. It is a product with hundreds of existing customers all around the world and with a big community of developers supporting it.
