Depending on how you set it up, it can be helpful with the trace IDs and find were an issue could be laying, but no info is stored so you see the path but not the data issue. Pros It it fast. It helps to keep logs, query them and monitor logs or services such as with HTTP monitors or alerts based on metrics. It support intelligent monitoring based on the baseline of the application. You can create dashboards such as Graphana to monitor different systems. Cons It has a high learning curve. If you are coming from matlock or other monitoring tools it will be difficult to understand and find locations. After some months of usage I have some trouble finding things. The AI assistant is useless, better use ChatGPT or Copilot for help. No monitoring of data, just logs or application endpoints. No connectivity for databases.
