It allows our IT department to detect and solve technical issues promptly. **Pros:** This tool automatically identifies all the servers within our campus and all the applications. The moment an outage occurs itimmediately detects whether the problem lies within the database or the network. This assists us to solve any logging problem before it reaches our helpdesk. **Cons:** The pricing strategy is complicated and unpredictable especially on a tight budget. Depending on how you set it up, it can be helpful with the trace IDs and find were an issue could be laying, but no info is stored so you see the path but not the data issue. **Pros:** It it fast. It helps to keep logs, query them and monitor logs or services such as with HTTP monitors or alerts based on metrics. It support intelligent monitoring based on the baseline of the application. You can create dashboards such as Graphana to monitor different systems. **Cons:** It has a high learning curve. If you are coming from matlock or other monitoring tools it will be difficult to understand and find locations. After some months of usage I have some trouble finding things. The AI assistant is useless, better use ChatGPT or Copilot for help. No monitoring of data, just logs or application endpoints.
