Pros

Easy to schedule employees. I like the different calendar views. That makes it so helpful when looking for either by day or by hour.

Cons

Would like to be able to click on the persons name from the calendar. This would be a huge benefit to be able To do this.

Easier scheduling process. Saves a lot of time and effort.

Pros

I like the most that staff receiving information at the same time and get an opportunity to pick and choose

Cons

It's making it more difficult if staff starts to cancel shifts, than take it again, than drop it, so on.

It made it simple to access available shifts without having to go through third parties, plus with it's 2 view (weekly monthly) option is help to spread out my time better without going over the maximum allotted shifts.

Pros

Ease of use, clarity, and color designations to indicate shifts assigned, etc. Particularly the use of color to indicate available and assigned.

Cons

Sometimes when shifts are announced to be posted at a given time, you log on and they are all gone, leaving me to believe that someone has a "back door" entrance that allows them to get on first, or pre-submit desired shifts before they are poste.

It is easy and simple to explain and use. Honestly I like that we switched to this for work then what we had because only select people had access to it but now you can see your own and that is fantastic!

Pros

I like that the way we have it set up as you can always see where and when you are scheduled so like if you forgot where you said you will pick up in the 15 sites that we have there is your way of finding out. Instead of calling every day to ask

Pros

Ability to allow various levels of team management and scheduling. QR code clock in is useful, and timekeeping has team by team flexibility.

Cons

Reports are somewhat lacking, system admin audit and reporting is lacking. No way to actually set a user's password, so if they are not receiving email from system, cannot just set the password or troubleshoot if email is being sent (system audit capability).

Pros

I like that I can go into the program and pick the days and hours I want to work and submit and it is done.

Cons

I think it would be better if I can click the entire month on the calender at one time, instead of week by week.

Pros

The program is easy to learn and functions nicely. Has capability to notify employees of assigned shifts via email and text. We do not use all function and capability of the program but we love what we do use. The iPhone app is great!

Cons

Employees state they do not receive emails and texts for every notification. They sometimes get and email but not a text or text but no email.

Pros

Having the students be able to trade between themselves without me having to intervene. Also being able to set up the sign up list is great for having students give me their availability at the beginning of the semester.

Cons

I wish the mark as no show feature was easily viewable. We do not rehire students that have missed or called off for a certain amount of times.

Pros

It's easy to see the schedule in a calendar view. It's very simple to add new workers and get them set up in the system. Overall it's been very beneficial overall.

Cons

Creating a full season's schedule in the system can be slightly time consuming. It would be nice if it could more streamlined. This is a small complaint however.

Shiftboard is vital to our organization. We have not found a feature that is missing that have needed. Support is very responsive with how-to questions and assistance. User Interface is very easy to navigate.

Pros

The idea of what it could be. Highly powerful, flexible, and fully supported.

Cons

That a lot of it is very buggy. It doesn't do things that were advertised. And isn't nearly as flexible as advertised.

You can see your schedule or your employees schedule as well as make sure you have enough bodies when needed.

Cons

Some employees have the app and are unable to do as much as the site.

Pros

The flow and simplicity to use makes it easy to use. Shiftboard also allows us to easily track employee hours and convert their hours into reports.

Cons

Not sure if it's shiftboard or our system, but once the employee hours are downloaded the excel spreadsheet often closes without warning.

Pros

It is efficient and helpful, I use the app on my phone which is very handy. It keeps items current and accurate.

Cons

I cannot search for a name in the calendar. If I haven't used it for a while and is updated by my boss, I have to log out, would be easier to refresh.

Pros

Shiftboard has everything we ever needed in WFM. the demand planner was the make or break for us as we are a contractor-remote-based workforce and volume/staffing needs change by the hour and by the day. incredibly detailed employee profiles, teams, locations, about 17 different ways to create shifts and fairly robust reports, plus a clockin/clockout functionality and mobile site

Cons

it's not a clear UI and sadly not very intutitive. you'll eventually find what you need as, like i said, the tool is very robust, just that many tasks take way more clicks and navigation than one would expect or deem necessary.

Pros

I like the ease of schedule, that it offers many ways to check schedules by either people or by assignment or even location. That you can set a schedule ahead of time and publish at a specific time. I also love the app

Cons

That the schedule interface isn't so people friendly unless your the scheduler. the look of it is outdated but function is great

Ease of use. All of the features are very straightforward and I was able to learn how to navigate around pretty quickly.

Cons

I do wish that the software came with some sort of training option so people who don't understand how to use it can learn how to be proficient.

I like the reporting aspect and the ability to check hours on the fly. I like that you can use shiftboard on your phone and the employees seem to really like that feature.

Cons

I dislike not being able to change breaks in a mass change and that there are no tutorials on how to use the product.

I love the ease of use. The software gives me the ability to change and add shifts easily. Then it is convenietnt to notify people of changes in shifts immediatly

The only thing I would like is to have the ability to run a few more report and some sorting tools that I have to do by hand

Easy to use and navigate. I like being able to see who else is working me as well and all the details and reminders about the events.

Pros

Easy to navigate and use. You can see your entire schedule by the week or month as well as upcoming events. To sign up for an event is easy as well as unconfirming an event. I also like the notifications of when a new event is posted or when a trade is available.

Cons

App is not as inclusive as on the computer. You cant see what the event is on the calendar or all the details.
