Key user insights about Multiview ERP

Based on of verified reviews collected between July, 2015 and August, 2024

Custom reporting

Based on 31 reviews
Users appreciate the customizable nature of Multiview ERP's reporting features, allowing them to set up data fields, run detailed reports, and create invoices efficiently. They find it easy to integrate with Excel, enabling them to pull sheets, create pivot tables, and add graphs directly within the system. However, they struggle with the complex terminology and limited report columns, finding the report-building process difficult and time-consuming, which detracts from the overall experience.

Invoice management

Based on 25 reviews

Reviewers find Multiview ERP's invoice management beneficial, particularly appreciating the ability to scan and attach invoices to vouchers for easy reference. They value the intuitive search options that allow filtering by amounts, invoice numbers, and keywords, enhancing the invoicing and billing process. Nonetheless, users encounter challenges with A/R invoicing visibility, non-intuitive search functionalities, and the complexity of navigating from the general ledger to invoice details, which complicates their workflow.

Pros

  • It is also helpful that the MM side links nicely with the AP side and the workflow is pretty automated and seamless. The most helpful feature for me is the reports side.

  • Multiview is very user friendly, it is easy to learn and helps up manipulate data from our EHR vendor when we can't get good reporting out of that system.

  • I love the ease of use and how easy it is to navigate and pull the information that I need. The help desk and portal are extremely helpful and designed for the end user in mind.

  • The customer service I have received has also been incredibly remarkable. Timely answers and solutions to any problems encountered have added to my appreciation of this wonderful product.

Cons

  • One more issue I find with multiview is how old information (For example, past year's disposal) disappears from the report once you flip the year to a different year.

  • Seems to lack some backend administrative function, analytics, etc.

  • It is hard to data mine the information out of the system. Can't just do a download, have to upload to temporary file to be able to download it.

  • Lack of communication over some of the solutions to the problems.

"The best ERP system you have never heard of"

Overall: Best decision I have made. The system is easy to use and they are continually updating features. Their customer service is the best response time out their. I would highly recommend looking at this system you won't be disappointed.

Pros: Multiview is a very easy to use system with the ability to load as much detail as you need. The implementation process was the best I've participated in.

Cons: Multiview reporting writing is the weakest link. I know it is on their radar to fix, but you can download as excel and get it into a format that way.

Alternatives Considered: Sage Accounting
Reasons for Choosing Multiview ERP: I work directly with the software vendor and the other products you work through a 3rd party.
Switched From: Dynamics 365
Reasons for Switching to Multiview ERP: The system was not easy to use. You did not have everything in a single place. AP was separate from GL.

"MV - Powerful but needs your time to understand and USE"

Overall: Experience is good and our company is very optimistic about entire MV experience. We are going to make it dance the way we want and we have big plans ahead to remove limitations of MV through diffrent API setups / uses.

Pros: - Flexibility - API - Audit logs - Report Generation capabilities - Combined and Seperate reporting for diffrent divisions and companies

Cons: - Too Complex - More training can help to understand and use MV properly. - Documentation website needs more details - Implementation team is amazing but Process can be more organised and structured - Please make users to go through virtual training(compulsory) before one to one training is even started.

Alternatives Considered: Sage 300cloud, NetSuite and Acumatica Cloud ERP
Switched From: QuickBooks Enterprise and Xero
Reasons for Switching to Multiview ERP: We are growing and we need a system which can fulfill our reporting requirements. We need our additional KPIs in our system.

""Multiview ERP: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly""

Overall: MV ERP has greatly decreased the time it takes to enter Journal Entries, Enter Overhead and Product Allocations, and automatically enters Intercompany transactions. It is also very beneficial to have AP Invoices scanned and attached to vouchers.

Pros: What I like most about MV ERP are the JE Interfaces, the RADs, the Allocation Reports, and Customer Support.

Cons: What I like least about MV ERP is the ViewPoint BI Financial Reporting and how complicated it can be. I feel like I need to be a computer programmer to figure it out. I was also very disappointed in the fact that we cannot use the Budgeting and Forecasting Module because of it's limitations.

Switched From: Dynamics 365
Reasons for Switching to Multiview ERP: Microsoft Dynamics was sun-setting in a few years so we decided to find a new ERP beforehand.
