### "Improvements to Multiview"

January 23, 2025

Ok but needs improvement. Like to see better upgrades to the system.

Pros

Easy to view trial balance and look at each in detail.

Cons

Need better reports. Need better way to run 1099's.

### "Multiview experience"

August 23, 2024

5.0

It's powerful and robust; but dependent on using all the time or otherwise forget

Pros

It's reliability, being cloud-based, the ease in navigation throughout panels and modules once you've learned

Cons

The terminology is not intuitive, especially in report writing and mapping Viewpoint; you need to be a 'subject matter expert' in order to avoid getting lost.

### "Multiview helps me report financial data like a pro!"

August 22, 2024

5.0

Excellent. The system just works. Their support is amazing also.

Pros

Multiview helps me with reporting. So much data can be brought in from multiple systems and it makes reporting so much easier!

Cons

Learning curve is tricky, but once you figure it out it is amazing. We are learning more and more everyday!

### "Director of Purchasing"

3.0

Overall, the system has a lot of potential of what it can do, but that is also what is slowing the system down - there are just too many tabs and too many options to choose from (especially for a new user). If the bugs were cleaned up and the system simplified (i.e., less tabs), it would be much easier to use and would improve the user experience overall.

Pros

This system is very robust and can accommodate a lot of different setups/workflows. We use the materials management side. We recently merged with three hospitals, and were able to work with MV to set up additional warehouses and workflows on how supplies transferred between the three companies. It is also helpful that the MM side links nicely with the AP side and the workflow is pretty automated and seamless. The most helpful feature for me is the reports side. They can be as detailed as needed. It is easy to pull an excel sheet or to do a pivot report table right in the system and can even add graphs.

Cons

Our biggest issue is that it is slow, especially since we have added more hospitals to the system. Certain tabs are barely able to load at all (PO Line Detail Inquiry). My concern is that it will only get slower as we add more data to the system. There are also a lot of bugs that pop up that just slow down the work process (i.e., sometimes you are not able to change certain tabs out of order and would need to restart the process).

### "Extremely satisfied with Multiview"

August 26, 2024

5.0

We have been extremely satisfied with Multiview. The software is easy to use and has a variety of customizing options. The customer support portal is also easy to use and very helpful.

Pros

Multiview is very efficient and easy to use. There are many options to customize data analysis and reporting options.

Cons

The login time is quite long. The file upload portal logs users out too quickly and we have to log back in often.

### "Flexible tool, Query master"

4.0

Positive, the support and implementation teams are great and responsive.

Pros

Cons

We feel fortunate to have such a dependable system to use and would highly recommend it to others.

Pros

The accounting software has everything we were looking for and then some. Training and implementation went smoothly. The software is highly customizable, it integrates well with Cerner and the customer service is exemplary.

Cons

### "It's all in the name"

June 18, 2024

5.0

Overall, it has been a great experience, though there is still so much to learn.

Pros

I absolutely love the fact that I have so many different ways that I can look at the financials. The name itself speaks volumes, MULTIVIEW, you can slice and dice to get down to the level of detail that you want.

Cons

Cutting checks for Accounts Payable. We have so many different ways that we can pay an invoice, it would be beneficial for us to be able to select a group of invoices and then select the bank we want to pay them against. Instead, Multiview has a "home" bank that each vendor is tied to, so we have to manually go into the individual invoice and make the change.

### "Project management that works"

May 22, 2024

5.0

Multiview is awesome to be honest. It is flexible and is quite agile. So far, I and my colleagues have enjoyed it except for some issues I already mentioned.

Pros

I love the fact that we can run reports for all of our activities and that the reports are loaded with information. I love the way project management leads up to POs, committments and invoices. I love the way It allows us to seemlessly capitalize assets and controls budget on each project. The reports available are awesome and very useful as welll. Finally, I love the way it manages purchase orders per project. Each screen allows you run an end to end report.

Cons

I do not like the way certain functionalities work, for example creating an asset type. I believe there is a way to simplify this process and reduce it to few steps. For certain set up, there should be a series of forms that pops up one after the other. step 1 shows you what to do, moves to step 2, step 3 and all the way to step 7. You dont have to leave the current screen and go into another one. Each screen just pops up for you automatically. One more issue I find with multiview is how old information (For example, past year's disposal) disappears from the report once you flip the year to a different year. If reports are not saved, well good luck with that because you will not see the data again.

I like the product and it has made the general ledger much easier to use. I'd like to see some more functionality but overall, I am happy with the product.

Pros

It was easy to set up and seems to be really user friendly for the most part. It is easy to get into the invoices and the general ledger sections. It is also easy to see reports and review items.

Cons

I think the budget itself is a little tricky to manage. There are alot of steps and alot of clicks to get to where you need to be.

### ""Multiview ERP: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly""

May 22, 2024

4.0

MV ERP has greatly decreased the time it takes to enter Journal Entries, Enter Overhead and Product Allocations, and automatically enters Intercompany transactions. It is also very beneficial to have AP Invoices scanned and attached to vouchers.

Pros

What I like most about MV ERP are the JE Interfaces, the RADs, the Allocation Reports, and Customer Support.

Cons

What I like least about MV ERP is the ViewPoint BI Financial Reporting and how complicated it can be. I feel like I need to be a computer programmer to figure it out. I was also very disappointed in the fact that we cannot use the Budgeting and Forecasting Module because of it's limitations.

### "Multiview Review"

May 22, 2024

4.0

Overall, it is a robust system. AR innovations have been lacking. Some setups are not intuitive and since they are not done on a regular, require assistance to find the one box that needs to be checked to make the information flow as needed.

Pros

How much there is to customize per user and some of the functionalities within the modules.

Cons

The ability to see certain data within certain queries even though the data exists within the same module. This causes the requirement to create custom reports, it that is even possible due to the same limitations.

Reason for choosing Multiview ERP

The capabilities in the queries and reporting, though several items that were pitched to us were not available for use .

### "Running an accounting department, appreciating the pains and the gains"

January 18, 2024

4.0

A challenge to setup, and a learning curve to master, but something with a long future of otherwise unseen reward for having done so.

Pros

I have worked with a very wide array of technology in my career. Statistical analysis systems like SPSS early on and to accounting and ERP platforms that include Infusionsoft, Quickbooks, Freshooks, Xero, with every software tool, patch and hack you can think of to keep a business running from a world in Lotus 123 to Open Office and Office 365. I've used it all. Multiview stands out on its own and offers abilities and flexibility that I had never seen possible elsewhere. It serves the purpose of multiple platforms like inventory, quotation, A/P A/R, business process workflow management, data storage and analysis, document retention and compliance management, and so on, and as such it will eventually reach into the way we use technology in all different areas of our business across all divisions of our operation and tie things together. I can only say that to me it does this in a way that you might expect could only have come from the brilliant minds of a few people who left IBM once upon a time to create and I find it to be the most customizable and capable piece of software I have ever encountered and offers game-changing rewards to our business, and from what I can see we have only been scratching at the surface of its potential. In terms of accomplishments We can book a single transaction to account for a service shared by multiple corporate entities in different proportions attributed to multiple accounting periods, within each entity's own accounting method - an expense for one, and an a capitalized purchase for another. A single check run will print checks for 3 companies across two currencies. Multiview has been integrated with two other systems that our customers and vendors transact within and in less than 6 months after rolling out we have used it eliminate weeks of manual labor each month including the associated human error that is unavoidable and we have just gotten started.

Cons

Consistent with wielding a tool that can do over a thousand different things when used properly, Mulitivew is not necessarily appropriate for the simplest of solutions. As it were a 1000-in-one power tool, it takes you time just to know where the flat head screwdriver is and there may be no easy way to remember exactly where it is without being taught and practiced so it can be frustrating before you have experienced doing it enough times that you do it without thinking. For those capable of taking on that sort of complexity to make a software platform really their own and make it TRULY work for them the way they envision it, it just takes more time and practice to get used to doing even the simple tasks but the end result can be seriously worth the time invested. In terms of actual challenges, configuring reporting and analysis has been a very big challenge and we still haven't perfected it. The data is is all where it needs to be but the reports in our case are mostly custom built and we haven't invested enough time into them because the basic off the shelf reports they have are insufficient for our particular needs. Some things made 'easy' by less complex systems like prepping a tax file for a certain jurisdictions aren't pre-packaged so you have to create the reports needed at first before they can be saved and just reloaded as custom reports afterwards, and finally, configuring to get the check-run or expense entry I mentioned as accomplishments took hard work to setup and learn - but the team was there helping us and guiding us during implementation.

### "Could be great....just not yet"

December 20, 2023

3.0

I know I have listed a lot of cons, so I want to also say that I think that Multiview has the base of what could be an exceptional program for all CAIS private schools to use. But it needs a lot of changes. But it could get there if the time was taken to invest in changing it.

Pros

The accounts payable module is good. Drill down ability in the trial balance is very beneficial.

Cons

Accounts receivable statements need to have the ability to run more than one month at a time to send to parents. Also with accounts receivable, being able to see the charge details without having to go into another screen would help as we talk to parents on the phone and they question the charges, it takes much longer to do this. Reports could be much better.... they aren't user-friendly to change/build.....and we're now having to pay more to have income and balance sheet statements built properly for us. The portal didn't work as we expected, so we are still having to build and send out monthly budget manager reports. I wish there was a report we could send to managers that shows current balance and budget (but now we're having to pay to have this report built). It would be good if we could delete accounts receivable charges after being posted as these create the activity that shows for our parent monthly statements. Approval of journal entries in message centre could be improved just by showing the entry details on the main screen and not having to flip over to 'message details'. User timeout for inactivity doesn't work and help centre confirmed this. Account posting status of 'inactive' should be just that, but instead you have to change an account status to 'restricted' but during implementation we understood 'restricted' was only used for account titles, not accounts being used by accounts payable and receivable. Removing reports from the library isn't user friendly. The use of RAD's and UDF's doesn't work in the program as explained during implementation....so we set up a few of both of these, but then when we went to run reports, found out that certain RAD's and UDF's can't be pulled into reports so they're of no use to us now after all that work. Accounts receivable statements have to be emailed to multiple email addresses together, so we're having to send statements in the same email push each month to parents who are split, so definitely not ideal.

Reason for choosing Multiview ERP

We were hopeful that the program would perform as it was explained to us. Unfortunately, it wasn't the case, but it's still an improvement from Blackbaud.

### "THE BEST ARP for ACCOUNTS PAYAB:LE"

December 20, 2023

4.0

My experience with Multiview has been a good one. I use it daily for all things Accounts Payable including Purchase Orders and check production.

Pros

Multiview is the BEST electronic accounting software on the market today. The software allows the invoicing and billing to be smooth, fluid process. Procurement can be a trying task for some software or they simply don't have the feature. Multiview allows requisitions to be submitted, Purchase Orders to be created and sent straight to the vendor for fulfillment and invoicing. This creates a streamline approach to procurement.

Cons

Sometimes it freezes or just shuts down in the middle of me working; however, the support team at Multiview are on point and responds fast to resolve any issues I may have.
