Cons This really seems like a must have for a small practice. however, working at a bigger large firm, I think a more robust platform is required to ensure that multiple invoices (and multiple matters) are more appropriately managed. Attorney/Owner Used the software for: ### "I love Rocket Matter and don't know how I lived without it" August 12, 2015 5.0 I can take my files anywhere without carrying any paper with me by uploaded notes, billing, and documents. I can enter time from my phone, tablet, etc. anywhere. I can bill in seconds. I can keep track of what's happening on my cases between staff and other attorneys with tasks and timekeeping. The only con I see is that you can't sync it with iCal. It's supposed to, but it doesn't work, so I use GoogleCal as a go-between and that works pretty well, only you can't put items in iCal and have them appear in RM calendar- only the other way around. But that's a small issue. This is definitely the best around. You can even call support, talk to a live person, get help, and make suggestions. Often, my suggestions have been implemented within days or weeks. Amazing. Oh, and RM staff return calls in a timely fashion and work hard to get results. I can't say enough good things about RM. RocketMatter has enabled the firm to effectively and efficiently capture billable time, facilitate and record client communication, quickly schedule client matter deadlines, and efficiently invoice ongoing matters and track collections, all while providing the firm a customer relationship management platform. Overall, RocketMatter demonstrates an excellent understanding of the business needs of law firms; therefore, enabling law firms of all sizes to focus on meeting client's needs. This product is so easy even I can use it. We have experienced a 30% increase in revenue because we are capturing so much time that previously went uncollected. It has paid for itself in spades. We have been thrilled with the customer service, also. We have found them to be super responsive and patient with the less technologically proficient members of our staff (read "me"). There are a few improvements I would like to see in the future, but overall, it has saved me many hours per month that I used to spend on billing. Above all, their customer service is second to none. Whether it is billing, technical support or product development, everyone I have ever had contact with at RocketMatter is prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They really care about you and their product. Cons Keeping up with the changing needs and changing legal environment provide an unending challenge in evolving the software. The staff learning curve was quick, with as much assistance as needed from Customer Service. The Rocket Matter team migrated our records from the former program relatively smoothly and quickly. Our billing time frame has been reduced a great bit after migrating to Rocket Matter. All in all, we are quite pleased with the decision we made. It can provide good asistance with training and upto compatible empolyees size. just go for it if you want to keep up with your partnering or competitive company. Pros Documents portability, fast and accurate invoice printing system, reduced invoice generation time make sit helpful for any user to store their data and documents at one place. they do have gold edition premium software package which allows more convenience and comfort among its users, which i would recommend if you want to boost your managing firm's revenue to 20 percent. Cons Duration of the free trial is less compared to other software as per me (7 days are still good) and pricing are bit higher, but portability they are providing with managing your documents are impeccable. The very best thing that happened was that I received a kind, and oh.. so patient customer service representative that walked me through the mess I created and helped me fix it.
