Pros

The customer support is top notch! I was running into some issues moving our on-premises installation to a new server and support was very responsive and knowledgeable.

Cons

A little difficult to locate IT documentation online. Other than that, I do not have any other complaints.

What isn't intuitive is made up for by the excellent Client Services. I would give the overall experience a B+

How it helps managers manage their budget expenditures. How easy it is to import dataa.

Cons

The system isn't intuitive. Users have to be trained on the system and walked through how to do everything. The system can be cumbersome in areas.

We have enjoyed using this program for the last few years. It is our first time using a PO system and everyone is glad that we found SpendMap.

Pros

SpendMap makes keeping up the orders very manageable and is simple to use

Cons

The only con that I can think of is that the date calendar gets hung up somehow and will not leave the screen, but only in a few windows.

Overall the software is really good, and customer service is THE BEST. All the help or training you need is available. The learning curve is a bit steep, all the modules integrate with one another so it takes comprehensive knowledge of each one to really take full advantage of the software. But once you learn it, it is very easy and works well.

Pros

Very simple to use (despite steep initial learning curve), very intuitive flow from one module to next. Value is just off the charts, pricing is very cheap compared to other software that accomplishes the same things. It is a very straight forward solution for inventory and purchasing management.

Cons

There is room for improvement. Once a user becomes fluent with the system, some features are presented in a non-intuitive way. For instance, Purchase module has a feature to process multiple PO's at 1 time, with 1 click. If those PO's are all set print as PDF, the software groups them all onto 1 PDF file by default and does not give a choice to separate the documents. Another example is filters. For Purchase Orders, there is no specific filter to indicate a PO that has been "partially" received, meaning 1 or more lines open to receive, or a partial quantity of a line item received. These PO's are grouped in with the "open" PO's, so it makes searching more difficult.

Reasons for choosing SpendMap

Choosing Spend Map was not a difficult decision, after using the trial software, setup and support was superior to other vendors, when it comes to determining the requirements that was needed for our company. This process was smooth and fast just a couple of sessions. Spend Map provided options for inventory control and management where other vendors did not and many other options. Our company is quite happy with the support and deployment and consistent support ever since our go live.All being said, this is a well thought out software solution that any company looking for a purchasing software should not find any issue working with.

Pros

SpendMap is a game-changer for our business. The PO Module is user-friendly and makes purchasing a breeze. The inventory management system is top-notch and provides all the information we need in an easy-to-use format. The reporting feature is fantastic, providing valuable insights into our business operations. And the support we've received from SpendMap has been outstanding, with quick and helpful responses to all of our questions.

Cons

Our only wish for SpendMap is that it had integration with Quickbooks Online. It would make things easier when it comes to working with our accountants.
