Cons

I would love to see more options in the paid version in comparison to the free trial version that is available.

Pros

We post our webinar archives on wistia and we are able to get a link to embed our videos elsewhere if needed, in emails, social media, etc. It is great to see the # of views.

Cons

I wish we were able to see who viewed the video, where the viewer cam from, etc. It would be helpful to see that coming from the Marketing side of things!

Pros

In the company we use Wistia to host the videos of the courses that are uploaded to our platform. It is extremely easy to use, super simple to access and even easier to synchronize

Cons

Maybe the only bad thing that I would stress about this software is that the prices on some occasions and depending on what you use it for are very high.

It has always been tough for me to pull the trigger on a video hosting service when Youtube makes it so darn easy, but the company I currently work with already had Wistia when I showed up. So, I have gotten used to it and I have to say it is easy to use and has been extremely reliable thus far. Some of my favorite features have been that I don't have to worry about videos being private or public, like on Youtube. On Wistia, your videos are always safely stored until you decide to directly share the link or embed code to another site. This is incredibly important if your company is concerned about proprietary info getting leaked. I have also loved the stats I get from people watching our videos. It helps me understand which items are popular so that I can understand what my audience wants. Overall, I'm still not convinced that you can't get all of these features with Youtube, but Wistia is great at what it does.

We've had Wistia for over a year and I'm very satisfied with the product. While you don't necessarily gain the organic traffic you might get from YouTube, the analytics you get from videos embedded on your site are perfect. The CRM implementation with HubSpot is excellent and it's an all around great product/service.

Pros

Lots of features, powerful data analytics, very easy to use, lots of customization, good admin panel with multiple user roles.

Cons

Some third party implementation isn't quite there yet (random third party WordPress plugins), but that isn't entirely Wistia's fault, but still a con. They also seem to have a good amount of data down time. No data is lost, but once or twice a week it gets a little backlogged. Still, not a huge issue and it's fixed within 24 hours.

Overall it's fantastic value for the cost. It's user friendly, allows for customization, and their support team is very responsive.

Pros

The amount and depth of analytics you get from Wistia is amazing. Everything from general watch times, repeats, drops, heat maps, etc. it's all useful in helping you (1) better improve your content focuses and (2) realize target viewing areas. We have this integrated with Marketo so it's also awesome to be able to trigger actions based on their viewing progress.

Cons

I currently haven't stumbled upon a con.

Pros

Wistia is very easy to use and has a simple interface. If you have multiple projects or product lines it's very easy to organize within the platform.

Cons

Going one step further and trying to apply to other marketing/sales use cases - wish it came with more robust reporting and ability to embed and track into emails.

The benefits come from a clear color chart and percentage of what the perspective sales lead has viewed.

Pros

I like most about this software is that I have a clear understanding of how much of a demo video my sales prospect has viewed. This lets me know where to start asking questions.

Cons

There is not a thing that I liked least about this software. The only con I would have would come from not knowing any of the information it gives me.

This product is great for anyone who wants to create a marketing machine. It has the perfect tools that allow you to easily upload videos and podcasts, which are then automatically converted into online video ads. This software also allows you to track how many people watched your video or podcast by using their analytics system.

Cons

The price can be an obstacle if you are starting to work with videos

I really like the ease of use with this program, it is very easy to get started. I like that it is free to use with limitations, but not too many. so that you can still utilize the important functionality.

Cons

I don't like that you can only create three videos with the free version, other than that it is hard to think of much else that I dislike about it.

This is an easy product to use. I don't use all of its functions, but if they are as intuitive as uploading and sharing the videos are, it will be a piece of cake!

Pros

This is an easy place to host videos. I have to upload videos to wistia and then copy the link to the testing platform. It is intuitive and easy to use.

Cons

I've not had any difficulties as far as hosting videos and sharing them out to other platforms.

We use Wistia. Daily. W has the best analytics for video that I've come across. Wistia has a very smooth and easy to use website. The customizable options are great when delivering videos to clients. I love seeing what parts of the videos are being rewatched and where they are being viewed from. The comments and feedback are also strong features and something that we use internally and with customers

How does Wistia have such an amazing video production crew? The content in their website is valuable and so pro that it's almost unreal. Forget about YouTube; Wistia is your new best video hosting platform. Aside from being an amazing and super ultra easy to use tool, it has so many different articles and resources on how to polish up your video production skills. That is simply amazing.

If you're looking for a hosted video solution, Wistia is a great service, great company, and great SaaS platform.

Pros

High quality, branded video. Amazing features: social widgets, calls to action, search optimized. Above all, Wistia's analytics are superior--heatmaps provide incredible data on viewer engagement and have had a huge impact on our video production.

Cons

I can't really think of any.

Easy upload, easy to embed, easy to describe the video. The player is customisable and nice for the end user. It's standardised.

Cons

We use Wistia videos in our projects, and we faced some troubles to perfectly fit the video. It required additional scripts, which not always were desirable.
