Definitely not as glamourous as some of the other content managment platforms out there, and not as cheap compared to ones you can use for free. It comes down to preference and need. if you don't need many elements, don't expect much traffic, and don't want to customize anything, then this would work for a hobby blog. Otherwise you'd be better off going with Wordpress. Pros I used uCoz intially as a website builder. Back then it had a ton of features and was good for that, but the website performed poorly under moderate organic traffic flow given all of the various elements on the website. i later switched to just using as a content management service (I had a blog), and for that it worked fine. However you could accomplish the same result with wordpress and many more integrative features. Cons Doesn't offer great hosting for high traffic websites for a competetive price. You're better off paying for hosting on a shared server like HostGator or Interserver. But first I want to talk about the advantages of the designer, they are not very many. The platform interface is pretty clean. You can even customize the number of tools yourself, and it’s really great. Cons Now you can go to any designer and notice a bunch of similarities. You can choose any and almost immediately start work. And in CMS uCoz not so. There the interface is made incomprehensibly like, everything seems to be out of place. I did not want to relearn.
