Overall, it is easy to learn and manage, and easy to train others to use the app and all of its features.

Pros

I love the easiness to enter notes, time review feature is very important and the accuracy of GPS always helps with payroll.

Cons

Quite often the punch ins or outs are not uploaded to my desktop, but they are on the employees app.

I implemented WorkMax as our previous long time payroll clerk was moving into retirement. This was a MAJOR change for our company as previously, everything had been 100% by hand. Calyn was absolutely wonderful in guiding us through this change.

Pros

I love how user friendly the system is, both the app and the time editor feature. I really like the ability to also handle our per diem through the app. The onboarding process was amazing and so well done. It was very thorough and I felt fully supported throughout the entire process.

Cons

After being a long time user of Foundation, I have found it can be a little different to get support for WorkMax. Sometimes the next day receiving help can be tough.

Pros

Time tracking and the user interface is good its very easy to use. I like the concepts of what the app can do. It did not take long for the field guys to learn.

Cons

it is very glitchy for the guys on the field and it does not show them there correct times when they go into review there time. There is alot of updates and seems like not everyone's app works the same.

Overall the experience has been good. The support department is quick to resolve any issues when needed.

Pros

WorkMax does exactly what we need it to do, and it integrates with our other software nicely. It's also user friendly and we like that there is an app and a desktop version.

Cons

WorkMax runs very slowly when using time editor on Monday mornings. We also have frequent outages that effect us.

Workmax has been a lifesaver for a rapidly growing contractor firm like ours. We are beginning to do more public(prevailing wage) work. Workmax has all the features we need to keep track of trades and pay employees accordingly. Cuts the payroll process down significantly.

Pros

The help I received to make sure it was properly set up to my company's needs was incredibly helpful. Less guesswork, learned directly from the on boarding team.

Cons

Reports can use a lot of improvement. Reports can be more interactive. I like to be able to see timesheets per job more easily. Titles don't appear on payroll detail reports. GPS would be better if it tracked movement, not just clock in and clock out locations.

Been with WMAX several years, most competitors do not have your standard features. Support staff very courteous and helpful.

Pros

Ease for each user/device Support @ Workmax is prompt and reliable Access data to create attendance reporting by job

Cons

Sync time to workcenter not always consistent Users need newer versions of I-phones or androids. Would be great if WMAX alerted user to clock in and out.

Overall I rate it between a 2 and a 3. Customer service is not very proactive and tend to send emails instead of reaching out via phone or zoom call.

Pros

I like the ability to track time with GPS and fencing. I like that it's pretty accurate with time. I like the ability for multiple supervisors able to review and approve time.

Cons

When updates take place it disrupts our work flow. I am currently having difficulty logging into the app on my computer without having to delete cache and settings every time since the last update. The phone app doesn't automatically update or refresh the sync

It's okay. It still needs some improvement. I still mostly just batch, process and close weekly transactions

Easy to use and integrates well with my accounting software. Easy to setup new phones and easy to train

Cons

No stopping overlapping entries in live time. Forms/assets not worth the price. Still rounding issues

Overall Workmox app gives us ability to track what we need to track and it integrates with our Payroll software well

Pros

I receive a call or email every quarter from someone at WorkMax checking in to see how things are going. Sounds like they are actively looking for ways to improve and keep customers happy.

Cons

Every now and then some employee clocks in to a wrong job or claims that couldn't clock in because of whatever reason. Typically it is caused by user error.

My over all experience has been okay with the WorkMax. I have worked on larger time and attendance systems, so I have used more robust systems. There have been many positive enhancements, hopefully they will continue to introduce more functionality to the system so it will become a more robust T&T system

Pros

The system is easy to log into and move around in. I like that you can log in from your phone or tablet.

Cons

The system can be cumbersome when you have a lot of jobs. This causes the employee to scroll sometimes endlessly to find the job number they need. I wish the system would come out with an automatic percentage allocation feature, hopefully this will be a feature for future enhancements
