### "The forms have been a huge advantage for our business."

Professional, legible results.

Pros

I like the flexibility of the forms creation process and workflow. Forms give us a competitive advantage over our customers by delivering professional results at the end of a job.

Cons

I don't like how the performance is hindered by adding multiple table rows when working from the app. I'm not satisfied with the text in the completed / printable copy. I don't like not having a cloud sync option to verify that all of the form data stays secure. If the app freezes or the form doesn't completely sync, then the data is lost. We have had several instances of lost forms or form data due to sync issues.

Experience has been great. Tech support has been speedy and great! The app works great. i feel like i have the support needed if i have any questions

Pros

The ease of use! The connectivity and reliability of the sync and that its cloud based.

Cons

I wish the time sheets were different. Its easy to use, yes, but i feel like engineers could make it easier for end users. To add time on the computer should be setup in a way similar to the app. Not everyone has a company device and doesn't want to use their personal device, so an microsoft store app or a individual app for the pc would be amazing.

Great support team, very helpful and responsive. The integration with Foundation Software wasn't as tight as we originally thought. Didn't quite fit our needs as we track items very detailed at the foreman level associating employee time to cost codes.

Pros

I liked the mobile app; it was very easy for the field workers to complete their timecards every day.

Cons

The web interface for foreman/office is not very user friendly and tricky for manipulating time entries to associate to cost codes. Didn't have a good solution for tracking time that was equipment chargeable (service codes), as it was more of a band-aid fix then true solution.

Overall our experience has been very positive. it has cut down on payroll processing and eliminated errors. WorkMax has also created substantial saving for the company be minimizing buddy punching and helping to verify who is actually on site.

Pros

The user interface has allowed our field personal to adapt to the platform quickly. The GPS location is accurate and allows supervisors to see where employees are when the clock in and out.

Cons

For some there was a learning curve plus some syncing issues with keeping job numbers and cost codes up to date.

### "Workmax is good, but not as good as the salesmen made it out to be"

customer service is good, i appreciate that is can be curated to what i need. after almost a year, still having a ton of issues with our guys forgetting to clock in and out, and clocking in and out outside the geofence. i dont think they are to blame for all of the geofence errors, weekly this takes hours of my time to sift through

the home screen, it's not too complex for construction

Cons

how inaccurate the location always is, I set all the guys up for "precise location" during their onboarding and their clock ins are still outside the geofence sometimes. sometimes, it is their fault, and sometimes, maybe even the address. but if google maps can get them to the address, why cant it be correct on workmax?

The ability to customize it to our needs.

Cons

Reports are messy and do not allow sorting without paying for an additional module. It's also very complicated to use without any knowledge (it is not very intuitive).

No offense to your new parent company, but I can see why they purchased you. The Foundation Mobile product was not great, it could not be customized, and it simply didn't work for us, we never used for its intended purpose because it didn't meet our needs.

### "Cuts Approval Time in Half!"

Not going to lie...it was a learning curve at first. BUT, now that I understand the program and know how to use, I've really started to enjoy it.

Pros

It has many benefits but the biggest one is the ability and ease for leads/foreman to approve field crew time. As payroll admin, I've cut my approval time in half, and will likely cut down further once everyone is more experience on approving others time.

Cons

There are still some items that I think could increase in functionality: 1. Exporting batched records. 2. Import click in/out to Foundation, not just total time for the day. 3. Ability to add timecards for multiple days at a time, instead of separate ones.

Pros

Extremely user friendly. It offers a variety of reports that I need when i need a breakout of hours to jobs or worker.

EXCELLENT!! very helpful tool and team. I have been using this tool for my union team time management and have not started to create forms to better allow for communication from the field to PMs.

Pros

Time Management and groups are very helpful.

Cons

Ability to manage overtime if you have two bound times. For example, if you work before 6am that is OT and after 4pm...tools does not have an easy to manage that. ALL times have to be touched and split...not good.

From meeting them at a trade show to the set-up, they never over-sold their product. It does exactly what they said it would do. It's been such an amazing enhancement to our work environment.

Pros

It more accurately captures time to each project than paper time cards, resulting in real-time costing information that improves project mgt and refines estimating future projects. It also eliminated laborious manual entry of data.

Cons

Took a bit to set up but so worth it. Their customer support is phenomenal!

Experience is good. Great product - would recommend to anyone. Easy to learn for both employees and managers.

Pros

Easy to use for employees, easy to edit time when necessary for managers, notes are great, and reports are good.

Cons

Wish the Labor Hours Report listed incomplete time punches so we can see all hours for each employee - it only prints complete time records. We use this report weekly to see if when employees are reaching the OT threshold.

I have been using WorkMax for 1.5 years now and I don't have any complaints whatsoever! Every time we have an issue (which is rare) we are taken care of with a very quick response. Great customer service !!!

good we are happy with product, there issues that we have but for the most part we get resolution, but in most cases we just move on and find a work around.

Pros

The desktop side is very easy. We have a huge issues with the location and getting orange globes- the field said they don't tune off location, and customer service was kind of sketchy about how an orange globe actually appears.

Cons

Cost is too expensive, and support is sometimes difficult.

My overall experience has been superb. Our company was implementing this software and 2 months in, our opps manager left the company. I had to come in halfway through and their team never missed a beat. They took me in, brought me up to speed and got us rolling in a timely manner. The trainers and support team were extremely helpful and continue to be there for us when needed.

Pros

Implementing this software was a breeze. The training leading up to activating was second to none and their team was there any time needed. Any time that I've needed tech support, they have gotten back to use within 2 hours max. It is user friendly even for the non-tech savvy individuals. I have used several time stamping systems, and this has been my favorite thus far.

Cons

Maybe it's just me but the online trouble shooting didn't have topics for the particular issues we were having and I wished it did. However, the tech support team had my issued resolved in less than 2 hours and I was very pleased with the quick response time.

It has been a positive experience for Payroll and employees thus far. We are almost 3 months into using the program and have had success so far.

Pros

I like the ease and simplicity of the app and the ability to control things on the backend for our employees as they turn in time and reports.

Cons

There are a few areas that I would like to see tweaked as far as filtering capabilities and reports, but no big issues.

Cons

The app doesn't work well. It takes a lot of steps to get signed in. Another con is vacation request process. There is no good way to do that.

This program is great until you have questions or they have updated the program. If you don't purchase their yearly support and certain things aren't working for you, they will not help you!! They won't even talk to you if you don't give them a credit card on the spot. This is terrible customer service. If I were to work with my clients on those terms, we would be out of business! They don't tell you that you have to buy the yearly support to function right. Our GPS has stopped working all together and I have an employee who's phone isn't working at all with the program after I have done everything I was trained to do to activate. Here is the response I was given over email: The reason GPS is not working is due to a change on the providers side. Because the provider we used for GPS Maps changed their code on how information is delivered, we had to rebuild our software to meet their standard. If your support is current you have the ability to update the software and it would be working again with no additional charge above the yearly support plan. However, since you are out of support, even if it is broken there is nothing we can do to resolve it. WOW!! WE spent a lot of money to purchase this program. Apple doesn't make me pay for updates, my computer company doesn't make me pay for updates. This is absolutely ridiculous to me. Save your money and look for a company that is willing to support their program without an extra fee.

Easy to use and change back and forth from job to job.

Cons

The support is horrible is you don't buy their yearly support.

The software is easy to use. The customer support is helpful and knowledgeable. The training team made the process go fast.

Pros

I was a long time user of About Time time keeping software, and switched to WorkMax last year. I like that WorkMax is web based. It is very similar to About Time, so my switch was relatively easy. They spent several sessions with me and walked me thru all the features and got all of my information from Quickbooks setup. It is easy for my field crews to move between jobs and select tasks for for those jobs. Their time is continuously sent to WorkMax, so I always know what is being done.

Cons

I wish when jobs are imported from Quickbooks, that WorkMax would only import the tasks that were used to build the job in Quickbooks, so that job costing was maintained better between the 2 programs. There are work arounds, which I use that make this happen, but it adds an additional step.

Reason for choosing WorkMax

Because of my long relationship with About Time Technologies.
