The software integrates positively into every business I have worked with. Pros Shopify has a easy to use interface that is great for any customer service position. In the retail industry, it allows for easy client communication. Cons I did not like the fact that it has many features. I wasn't able to fully understand and train on those features. It was very user-friendly. There was lots of help available through Shopify and from the internet in general about the ins and outs of the platform. This was important to me because I have no prior experience with setting up my own online store. Shopify made the experience much more inviting and stress free. Pros What I liked the most about Shopify was how user friendly it was. As a new user, the platform felt very inviting. Cons The pricing structure is what I liked the least about Shopify. Blazing fast solid infrastructure Cons Coming from WooCommerce Shopify is not the most open environment due to its cloud structure. Heavy customization is achievable through Apps, Functions or Plus features. Plus pricing is hefty. It is easy to set up, has a vast array of apps available, and it scales from a small to a large instance. Pros Shopify is so easy to get up and running. Basic functionality is all there, with paid apps available to do almost anything you want. The all in one platform keeps hosting, security, compliance and everything else you need to run your ecommerce in one place. Cons Monthly fees can quickly rise with apps and premium themes. Transaction fees are high, but the convenience factor can justify the costs. There are lots of plugins which can be used to add extra features and tools. Pros Its easy enough to use, had lots of features and functions that we want Cons Pricing for seats is based on plan level and if you need more you have to move to the next plan which can be quite a jump in expense. It's easy to imagine that all options are more or less the same, as, on the surface, they essentially provide the same service. Pros I love that shopify can do everything all in one shop! Drag and drop makes it super easy, no coding. Can use it for print on demand and PDFs . Handles all the website payments which is awesome. Cons The paid plans can be pricey especially if you're just starting out. While Shopify offers a range of app integrations, having to set up and maintain separate hosting for custom apps adds to our workload and operational costs.
