Pros I find this software fairly user friendly for the most part. I like that I can make changed to my site myself instead of hiring experts to do it. Cons I find the pricing of this software quite pricey for any additions you want to add. There are various payment options available, and you can integrate certain other systems for marketing automation and analytics. Cons It's hosted on its own with the service, so there aren't really any choices for hosting and performance optimization. The blog is okay, but I prefer other blogging platforms, personally. Anytime I've had a problem a quick google search will find the answer since so many people use it. Pros I love shopify. It's easy to use and I feel that it comes with a lot of information and ability to grow without the price going up exponentially (I'm looking at you Etsy). Cons There are lots of functions that I wish they had that I have had to go elsewhere and use a third party app to accomplish. Whether you're a startup or a multi-million dollar company, Shopify is a qualified solution. I appreciate the community, resources, and plethora of apps that are conducive to success. Cons My biggest struggle with Shopify is their exporting and reporting capabilities. There are some big holes in the system that are hard to work around if you're looking to analyze large amounts of data. Pros I do not have much programming or web design experience, but was able to learn how to setup my ecommerce store on Shopify. There are a lot of features, integrations, and for eCommerce it is a great platform. Cons If you want to get more advanced and start customizing your website, or have to fix your responsive design, it can be a little tricky. I used Google and found solutions for my store front. Pros Shopify helps me open up my store, create a website, and add new products using various apps and programs. Cons I don’t like having to pay monthly payments to get my store up, especially when I am not making a sale. Easy to use and understand, you don't need to be an expert in software management to operate it. integrating with common payment processors is great. Shopify has a great customer service support, response to message is prompt with people who are happy to help. Cons Nothing good comes easy, but in Shopify nothing good comes free, to get a well designed template you'll have to spend to get it because the free template are not that good looking. Overall, a great service with a tremendous amount of features and support. Cons The iPhone app could be a little fiddly to use, but that's certainly not a dealbreaker for me.
