It’s easy to use and works well with a lot of apps, which helped me get started fast. My biggest issue is the support—it’s not great. Plus, many useful features cost extra, so expenses can add up quickly. Still, for small businesses, it’s a solid platform to start with. If we can minimize the login issues, that would make it even better. Pros It was simple for a non web developer to learn and pickup. The design interface is really easy to use and there seemed to be a lot of options. It reminds me of WordPress but just ecommerce focused. Cons A lot of options are a good things but also means it makes it hard to really feel like you know everything with the software. However, not everyone can do this effortlessly; it requires considerable knowledge of computers and the web. And, charging a monthly fee for this basic knowledge is what Shopify does. It can be ok, but, instead of charging this fee from the beginning, if it is charged after a certain period once the business has stabilized, it could be a win-win strategy for both parties. Pros Not so difficult to get a domain name and build a website. Not so expensive to continue.
