Pros The level of control, ease of setting up an online store with inventory tracking, online payments, parcel shipping integration and intuitive management panel. Cons It is pricy, especially for a small starting store with virtually no sales yet. The option to "park" the website for a period of time when things are slow is helpful, however, it is a considerable expense for a starting business. If we can minimize the login issues, that would make it even better. Pros It was simple for a non web developer to learn and pickup. The design interface is really easy to use and there seemed to be a lot of options. It reminds me of WordPress but just ecommerce focused. Cons A lot of options are a good things but also means it makes it hard to really feel like you know everything with the software. It did feel like we often had a lot of issues logging into our account, mainly from outage or down time from Shopify. Review Source WT Wasif T. The platform offers a lot of customizable themes and a good app store that lets me add extra features without much difficulty Cons What I like least about Shopify is the transaction fees they charge if you don't use Shopify Payments, which can add up quickly. Also, while the platform offers many apps and themes, some of the more advanced features and customizations require additional costs, which can be pricey. Easy to get the reports that are needed for bookkeeping. Cons Shopify should consider getting feedback from bookkeepers and accountants to add more reports for further detail. Cons As an agency, switching back and forth through the different sites was a little bit of a pain. I think it should be a little more obvious which site you are working in to prevent errors. Cons their drawback is the high transaction fees and app costs and we can't do that much in the customization part.
