Contrary to WooCommerce, you don't need to find a hosting provider, install a CMS, install dozens of plug-ins and implement event tags to be able to measure what the users are doing in your store and send this info to your ad platforms. Everything is integrated and works seamlessly from moment zero, and can be set up with no effort. Their customer support is AMAZING, always available and helpful. Their control panel is great, too. Cons Shopify is VERY expensive, since it will charge you a % fee on your sales. That is, in my opinion, abusive, and I hate that still millions of people are willing to accept this business model. If you have a developer or if you have some time, use WooCommerce, and you will save that % fee. However, your time or your devs time will also be worth some money, so depending on what you prefer, choose one option or the other. Review Source DK Denise K. I attend retail shows and during those month(s) I enable POS options and tender purchases, with contactless payment options, on the floor wherever my customers are. Pros Shopify app works great for me, every now and then I might get some filtering when I have to switch to different things but it's not that bad & it doesn't last that long, it could use a better editing tool it's not enough fun options or colors... Also I would like to update the app when I need to win Cons Horrible After Android 12 Update! Order notifications take at least 10 seconds to open. Prior to Andriod 12 the response time was nearly instant. This has become VERY annoying and not time effective at all. Helps set all the basic functionality that someone would need - a theme template for the store look, setting up products & collections, shipping, taxes, etc. You don't need to be super tech savvy to get yourself setup. Cons With any type of platform there's bound to be drawbacks, one that I would consider fairly obvious would be that Shopify has no way to track the cost of goods. I'm sure that there are people that find ways around it but it seems like an obvious must-have.
