They have calmly answered our "stupid questions" and provided great support from the beginning. From time to time, I have looked at other options just to see what new features might be out there. I always come right back to VP - often because I discover that VP does "that" too! Pros VP Cart does everything I need. I can use it "out of the box" or customize to my heart's content. We managed it ourselves on 2 different web hosts before moving to their hosting plan. That's the best choice we ever made. The "most" liked feature is the ability to run two sites from one database. That makes running our sister stores much easier! Cons Some days the control panel times out randomly; many days, we don't time out at all! Sometimes we lose a little work and that's frustrating. The one page checkout is appreciated by many of my customers. Pros My company has been using VPASP Shopping Cart Software for more than 10 years. It has grown from a very good, powerful shopping cart to one which is extremely flexible and provides all functions an online store owner could ever want. Setup and implementation is quite straight forward, using the step by step online installation/upgrade program. It's a matter of answering a bunch of questions. Any setup problems are highlighted with solutions so you can easily make the adjustments necessary for proper installation. Implementing, featured products, menus, right and left columns is a matter of turning the section on and providing links to the product/items to be displayed. It is template driven for formatting or products. These templates are easily modified so you can get the look you want. All-in-all, an excellent shopping cart for those who do not have any programming experience. VPASP Customer Support is second to none. Cons The latest Version 9, which is in Beta currently, has many added features compared to the previous Version 8. My one complaint is the new product entry page is not organized nearly as well as that which was in the previous version. I find it a little frustrating seeing as new product entry is one of the most used functions once the website is up and running.
