I have been using it for over three years and have only had to call tech support two or three times—that's incredible. Cons It lacks some of the features and functions of other ATS systems that I have seen in the market AND there are some very minor things that could be added that would be a huge help to the daily operation of my business. It has benefited my business dramatically. Pros The ease of use, and the ability to search and utilize my database and find possible candidates with ease. The price is also big plus. Cons They have made a lot of improvements, and I don't always integrate them into my practices. I need to keep up with the changes and adapt to them. I am a fan of Training Tuesday and have often attended webinars presented by top recruiting trainers from around the country. I also like the ease and efficiency of tracking my progress with a candidate through each step of the interview process. Pros How easy it is to access information re: candidates, clients and prospects and the efficiency of entering notes in the system as I am interviewing candidates. Very good people at Top Echelon to work with, always helpful in answering questions and making suggestions. Cons I have had good experiences in using Top Echelon so I cannot think of a con. I'm fortunate enough to have some good support from both the TE staff as well as other using I have made a connection with within TE. Pros Top Echelon has a large group of professional recruiters that work together for the common goal of making placements. We share our candidates and jobs with other recruiters that works the industry I'm working in. Cons The only item I need some help with is a better way to track the date employees are placed in the company records. I don't like the way contacts tht are hiring authorities appear to show up as candidates as well. This should be separated. This helped me keep my business afloat. Also, networking with other recruiters, I've been able to bounce ideas off other individuals that understand the business, and I've been able to help others who needed guidance. Pros I was able to make difficult placements due to the networking on Top Echelon, both as a job recruiter and candidate recruiter. Cons Some recruiters post jobs from third party venues. The support teams within Top Echelon are world class and they constantly work on improving the software for it's members. The database itself is very user friendly and can be manipulated to fit your agencies way of doing things specifically. I expect to be using Big Biller for a very long time!! Pros The ease of use with Big Biller software and how it can interact with other agencies databases is just a great feature. They are constantly upgrading and adding features to the software as well. I can access this database from a wide variety of devices allowing me to always have my database with me. It's ability to track and save past emails / resume submissions with clients and candidates is really important as well. Cons My only negative (if you can call it that) is that there are really no features to help enter clients into the databse. In my industry (specifically) new companies are popping up all the time. It would be nice to be able to compare companies via a resume and have a new company automatically entered in some way. This feature was available at one time. December 17, 2021 5.0 It's been a great experience with Big Biller as I has built my own company. Pros I find the abilty to customize and build cards makes this software incredible. I can set up my full interview process with questions so can review and compare apples to apples on candidates. This software is easy to use. I'm a very experienced recruiter and love how intuitive Big Biller is. I can also email blast candidates and receive hundreds of interested responses. Of all the ATS's I have used I like this one the best. Cons I would like Big Biller to have an easier way to email blast client corporations. From the beginning, their level of care and service has been beyond what I expected. The product has many features and options available to use within their system. The system was far beyond what I had used in the past. They are continually improving, which says to me, they care about their clients. Top Echelon is looking to be the best in what they do and it shows!! Pros The level of service has always been outstanding. The company is responsive, reliable and overall amazing to work with. Cons The texting option is great, but there has not been an ability to group text, which would be most ideal. Currently not using their texting system due to this. Pros This software was designed for the staffing and recruiting industry. The cards, templates, and fields are well thought out, with the option to further customize if needed. Cons It would be helpful to be able to see attachments to emails in the activity history. As of today, we can only see the email body. In order to see what attachment was sent, we need to look it up under the Email tab and then search for it. Reason for choosing Top Echelon It was designed specifically for the staffing industry. But the extensions do work on the resume widget, so that is a plus, i just wish they showed up better on the screen. I was looking for a way to give the candidates my search clients do NOT hire visibility into other opportunities throughout my network. When economic times are volatile, I have worked on other recruiter's open positions. When I'm awash in client demand, I know I can count on the other recruiters to help me fill my client's openings. Pros The integration of Big Biller software and the Top Echelon Network capabilities are superior to anything I've ever seen. Cons Sometimes to scroll up or down you can't use the arrow keys or page up / page down. You have to move your cursor to the thin strip at the right of whatever frame you're looking at and click on that narrow, tiny vertical ribbon to scroll up or down. Reason for choosing Top Echelon the other products aren't integrated, e.g. NPA Worldwide's Marketplace by Oorwin: you can't click on a recruiter's name to see his/her current jobs or candidates. While no software or any product is going to give you 100% of what you need/want. BB comes pretty darn close. What they lack in the cons is far outweighed by the pros! Pros Exceptionally easy to implement. Even with a huge database like mine. TE constantly is looking for ways to improve the daily use of the product. Not complex to use, easy import of data, resume, and chrome extensions like LinkedIn. Very little if any down time. Maybe 3 times for 5 minutes over the last 8 years I've used BB. Highly recommend this product. Cons search breakdown, email, and you did away with the almost instant chat box for real time answers. Pros Ease of use, everything you need in a database for tracking candidates, jobs, and companies. Excellent resource for recruiting teams, love the browser extension for all recruiting platforms including Linkedin, Indeed, and Ziprecruiter. Cons It takes a little training to get used to the boolean search, but the trainings via the help desk are great.
