When they simplified, it was easy to use but not sophisticated enough, there were reports we just couldn't get from it. Customer service was extremely nice, but by email only so very slow - sometimes getting an answer took a week. So we switched to Eleo about 8 months ago, very happy now. Pros It met our needs for years before the simplifying. Cons Simplifying made it less than we needed, reports weren't enough. It's not the best on the market, but it's very serviceable. Pros I found this software very user friendly. A lot of donation management software can be very convoluted and overwhelming to even just look at. After spending 10 minutes with Donor Tools, I knew how to do pretty much everything I would need to do on a regular basis. It's laid out very easily. Cons At least in my experience I found the software itself to be a bit glitchy and buggy. Navigating around the software and trying to create reports, for example, often led to pauses of up to 7 or 8 seconds while the program found its bearings. It seems like things on the coding side are not quite perfect. I think that any nonprofit would benefit immensely from this program and is cuts down time for the grants department as well as for accounting. Pros Donor Tools has made the process of connecting with our donors so much easier. Donors are able to directly upload all their information, update it, and process donations all in one software. We are also able to directly pull reports and connect it to our Quickbooks account. Cons I cannot think of anything that we do not like yet. It has honestly made everything a little easier. Great tool. Pros After searching different sites to track donors we found Donor Tools to be the best one for us. It has everything we need and for the price, i could not find anything better. Cons The reports are not customize like others, it comes out in excel, but once in excel you can customize the entire report and obtain all the information you need. Pros DonorTools is extremely easy to set up and I am able to see the income trends from years prior. I love the fact that you don't have to know how to program in order to be able to develop fund pages. Having the ability to have several users with the ability to limit access is very helpful so that everyone can be on the same page and access the necessary information. Cons I wish that we would be able to customize the way emails would come in. I would also be beneficial if there was better usage on a smart device. I don't know what we were doing prior to this installation of software but we definitely will use this moving forward... good job guys Pros The overall creation of software to capture this type of service is Standalone and unique this gives my nonprofit organization the ability to keep track of all donations coming out which is excellent for tax purposes. Cons The cons are very few when talking about this software the ease of navigating through the program is almost seamless and it's also an excellent way to keep your nonprofit organization organized I understand this is the section where the negative views are supposed to be but there are none in my opinion.
