An excellent applicant tracking system and customer service. I really value their expertise and it helps me deliver my objectives.

Pros

Having worked with Jobtrain for over 10 years (over 3 different sectors) I can wholeheartedly say that they are top of their game. They are a master of their applicant tracking system. The beauty of Jobtrain and their different products are that you can choose to use all the functions or just the basic system. Whatever your needs, they will support you. Their customer service is fantastic and, I have, and continue to recommend Jobtrain over and over again!

Cons

I can only say that, over the years, I have had to change account managers. I know this must happen and it is purely through Jobtrain's growth. When this has happened I was kept in the loop and received a fantastic handover. My excellent relationship with Jobtrain continues.

Would like to explore more potential from this platform to make it even better.

Pros

Very customer focused and approachable with all queries from the team. No problem is a big thing. The communication is clear and helpful.

Cons

Not sure about this yet.. I don't think there is anything to improve. We need to do more train for the team to get the best out of it.

I’ve been using Jobtrain for over a year now and have found it to be a highly effective and user-friendly platform. It offers a wide range of features that support the recruitment process from start to finish. I particularly appreciate how intuitive it is when creating job adverts, managing applications, and setting up interview events. Recent updates have further improved the user experience—for example, the ability to view all assessment question stages on a single screen has made preparing assessments much more efficient. Overall, Jobtrain is a reliable and valuable tool that continues to evolve in ways that support HR teams.

Pros

Jobtrain is easy to use for creating job adverts and managing features like interview scheduling. I’ve found some of the recent updates particularly helpful—especially while preparing assessments forms. For example, the ability to view all question stages on a single screen has made the process much simpler and more efficient. I also really value the feature that allows us to book interviews on behalf of candidates who may not be able to access the system themselves. It’s a great way to provide responsive and inclusive customer support, ensuring that no one misses out on an opportunity due to technical barriers.

Cons

It can take time for a business to fully adopt and utilise all the features Jobtrain offers. For example, in my organisation, we currently don’t use the new starter and onboarding tools. This means we’re missing out on opportunities to streamline and automate parts of the employee journey. Unlocking the full potential of Jobtrain requires not only awareness of its capabilities but also a willingness to adapt internal processes and invest in training where needed.

Takes a little while to get it to how you need it to be. Often a lot of emails sent when they would be much better as notifications if app based

### "Great Product"

Overall experience has been nothing but positive. The system itself is great and the team behind the scenes are always available and willing to help. Great system.

Pros

I like how user-friendly the system is. It is very intuitive with upgrades and new features realised which really make it an easy and streamlined process.

Cons

Some of the reports can be a little tricky to get, but with the use of custom reports, this is easily resolved.

This has been a partnership throughout and the JobTrain team care about our success through implementation to go live and this comes through in everything they have done both for us and with us.

Pros

From the very first engagement with JobTrain we could tell that the team care very much about their product and want it to work for us. The team have been brilliant throughout implementation to handover day with speedy responses and always with a view to helping, guiding and supporting our build. We are looking forward to our training ahead of Go Live and the support we have received so far gives us every confidence that the support we will continue to receive will be just as good moving forward. We would want to recognise \[sensitive content hidden\] work in our early days but both \[sensitive content hidden\] have been great for us. We have genuinely enjoyed the process and interactions, thanks you two!

### "Outstanding experience with the Jobtrain team"

Even with a couple of last minute changes from our side, they were positive and adapted their process flow instantly and still kept us on track for our deadline. Excellent project management from start to finish. \[sensitive content hidden\], our Continuous Improvement Consultant, has been in regular contact with us from the start and is always open to having a chat about the system or our needs - so refreshing to have her on the other end of a phone and we really appreciate her genuine and very human approach. And finally, the service from the support team made up of \[sensitive content hidden\] (apologies if I've missed anyone else out!) has been the best service desk experience I have ever had with any digital platform company. With every system tweak that I submitted, they had acknowledged, replied and resolved my tickets in record time. Whether it be on the phone or via the excellent ticket portal, this team has been pivotal to the success of our system roll out and I am incredibly grateful to them! All in all, the team at Jobtrain have just been a joy to work with and I love how personable they are and it really comes across that they enjoy what they do in making our systems and processes better!

Pros

The system is simple, seamless and streamlined. There are hundreds of customisations available to tailor the system to your needs. The setting up and implementation of the system was a smooth process and one that we really enjoyed. The service desk team is just excellent!

Cons

There are one or two things in the system which I would like to see added but I have spoken to the Jobtrain team about these and I really like how open the team are to hearing possible improvements in the system for the future.

I am thrilled with the transformation Jobtrain has brought to our recruitment process. Pros

As People Director of a large Trust, I must say that Jobtrain has been an absolute game-changer for us. It has enabled the Trust to offer a centralised recruitment service that is both agile and responsive, the best feature is the ability to automate steps in the recruitment process to ensure candidates are communicated with fully throughout the recruitment cycle.

Cons

When we first implemented the system were unable to use referencing as it works slightly differently in the education sector but Jobtrain have improved the reference functionality so it now works in the way we need it to.

Reason for choosing Jobtrain

Better overall system and more cost effective. In the long term it was the right choice as the other product is no longer on the market.

It's very user friendly and intuitive. The clear self-service user guides and customer support aspect of Jobtrain makes this product a pleasure to use.

Pros

The customer support we receive from Jobtrain is second to none. The help desk are available by phone with an immediate resolve to my issues or questions. They're all so friendly, patient and knowledgeable. On the rare occassion they aren't able to help me during the call, they always get back to me that day and follow up to make sure that the issue is fixed.

Cons

It would be great to have more autonomy to select certain functions for jobs/application forms. ie. a function which only pulls through certain jobs onto external job boards, and have an option to turn of CV auto-fill function on certain application forms etc. rather than the function being on/off across the organisation.

A genuinely very good experience and I would highly recommend the product, but also the team.

Pros

Jobtrain is a very user friendly product that helps us manage our candidate journey with relative ease. The support offered by the helpdesk is second to none. No question or request is too much effort and they always make time to respond quickly and explain any changes with the necessary detail. They are a joy to work with.

Cons

\- Interview booking system could be a little less clunky- The Yoti integration could have considered the 'Rejection' route a little more thoroughly- Some elements of configuration could be handed over to the client admins (e.g. updates to new starter forms etc)

It's easy to navigate around the product, everything is laid out in a simplistic way in which you can find what you need relatively quickly.

Cons

Not being able to filter on certain areas including recruiter name, you can only put in order. Not being able to delete unneeded roles/candidate applications and can only archive roles.

The applicant tracking system, it is accessible, reduces the paperwork and improves efficiency with time and responses.

Cons

When issuing reference requests, referees have 30 mins to complete the form once they have accessed it. This has been something that is a regular issue.

### "Great support for a small, growing charity"

Pros

JobTrain has great customer service and provides an out of the box recruitment system. This was hugely beneficial for our small charity at its time of growth. Using JTGo, we had access to exactly what we needed and JobTrain were very charitable in the support that they provided us.

Cons

With the system being out of the box, there are sometimes features that are not needed or don't always work in exactly the way that you want it to (not always a con, especially as it was our choice to use an out of the box system).

Jobtrain has provided a cost effective applicant tracking platform for our company for the last 15 years, constantly developing and re-inventing the applicant journey, committed to expanding into new areas to better partner with our needs not just for today but also to provide the candidate experience for the future.

Pros

The simplicity of the user interface in providing information needed to make decisions on the progress of recruitment activity coupled with the near endless customization available in the system makes for an impressive package. The support offered by the Jobtrain team in on-boarding/training and developing the applicant tracking portal is first class and the team often go above and beyond offering dedicated client success managers along side experienced recruitment professionals familiar with recruitment processes in the UK

Cons

The shear volume of options and customization can be a minefield to navigate at first, however the team at Jobtrain are quick to reassure and educate, and in many cases happy to pitch in to solve any issues and provide guidance going forward.

Excellent system, easy to use and reliable. Excellent configuration options and meets the core requirements we look for in an ATS. Importantly the CSMs and Support Team are friendly and responsive, engaging with us to develop the system and solving issues quickly.

User experience, both for the customer (candidates/managers) and for myself and the HR team that use/configure the system

Cons

Reporting functionality not the easiest to utilise for colleagues that do not regularly use BI modules.
