I have worked with 5 different Tour Operator software companies over 20 years. During that time, I have worked with the Softrip system and team for 18 and they are, by far, the best I've worked with.

Pros

The entire Softrip Team is fantastic. From the Admin staff, to the Engineers, Development, and Support Team, they are all a pleasure to work with.

Cons

The native reporting capabilities necessitate 3rd party reporting tools.

Pros

The ability to customize markups and pricing by supplier and by agency. Previous platforms I have worked on do not allow this and are all or nothing by brand.

Cons

Previously most of our development has been customized rather than considered basic TO functionality, but we are happy to know Softrip is moving towards more across the board functionality.

Overall Softrip has provided the tour operator functions needed to grow our business. With such a small team on our end, receiving proactive assistance or ideas on how to better use the system would be welcome so that we are not guessing on how to best leverage the platform.

The product / package builds are user friendly. Reporting functionality is almost always correct and fast

The time and cost associated with custom changes to better fit business needs

We have been using Softrip and as we have scaled up in size we have been supported and the product has grown tremendously in flexibility and ease of use during that time.

Cons

Softrip has loads of features and implementation is sometimes challenging.
