Good we been using it for the past 8 years and we will continue to use it. The account manager keep changing but we never have to call or ask them any questions. So that mean the software is stable.

Pros

Everything works if you spend the time and effort to learn to use it. Our warehouse depends on it and it never fail us. We also experience 0 downtime for the past years.

Cons

It is not easy to learn how to use. The User Interface is also a bit outdated. Also it is hard to make any changes. We spend the money to buy a bar code scanner per 3PL's recommendation but it was obsolete and not support it in 8 months.

I find the system works really well. I can access the software and edit any orders that need correction before the warehouse ships the order. It's a nice work tool for our company.

Pros

It's ease of use for warehouse managers to keep reports for me to check our stock status and other features like the summary of an order and transaction history to see shipment details including: weight, dimensions and tracking number. Really all I need to from a customer service viewpoint.

Cons

Limitation on software to capture real time $ values of products for international shipping. I which I can send an order and the values of that order could be used for the customs documents but it's limited to just static values on each product.

Very positive experience. This WMS allowed us to have a 100% accurate inventory with multiple multi billion dollar customers.

Pros

Easy of inventory management, inbounds and outbounds allocations. Easy integration for operating multiple warehouses and multiple customers.

Cons

Tough to implement changes to the software. For example, the SSCC labels use browser print instead of the Windows drivers.

Customer service is great, I am always helped when needed, even though sometimes there is a payment required. In the long run it is worth it. I never into any problems for the time I have been using 3PL Warehouse Manager and definitely recommend to anyone that needs a WMS.

Pros

Very easy to use and simple to teach employees. Customers love the option to access inventory and can also do some of their own editing. It has been such a big impact to our company in regards to time and efficiency from order pick to, inventory and invoicing.

Cons

It would be good to give customer more access to edit or create items through the import template. In some ways it is good that the warehouse can get help if the Vendor/customer is willing to do so, especially in the HOT months. Overall customers get to do a bunch things in the system, so not really an issue; but would be advantageous in certain situations.

Pros

Extensiv is very easy to navigate for both warehouse & customer users.

Cons

The scanning feature isn't the greatest. The system allows for overriding inventory when picking/packing, which can lead to errors. It was also glitchy at times. It was hard to reach our account manager at times but they were always helpful when needed.

it provides the visibility i need to keep track of our inventory and orders.

Pros

I like the ease of searching for orders, by status. I like the inventory reports and being able to view the remaining length of shelf life our product has.

Cons

Some of the reports have a layout that can be misleading, showing inventory we don't have physically yet it is in the reports

Overall it has been decent. The support is not really helpful. They provide bunch of KB articles which I usually always go through before reaching out. For any real support, you need to book a time with a consultant for a price of around $200-$300 for 2 hours if I am not wrong, just to understand how to use a module.

Pros

Order fulfillment is easy and straight forward.

Cons

The UI and UX for returns and billing. Processing a return process is a nightmare. Would be much easier if there is an option on the Smart Scan app for processing returns. Everything is manual now and can take upto 5 minutes per return order.

I do a wide range of IT at our company and know the processes of most departments. People come to me when they have IT issues and that includes issues with 3PL. There aren't a lot of issues that are due to the system, more training related. When we have issues that are system related, 3PL Support is always responsive and helpful. We also have a lot of custom development and API integration and 3PL Central has excellent documentation for our developers..

Pros

3PL Central is great because it's easy to use and train staff on.

Cons

The item alias screen is a nightmare and all clients are combined together. I wish it was setup like other screens, where you first select the client rather than all clients, which makes it slow and unstable.

Reason for choosing 3PL Warehouse Manager

We looked into NetSuite and another system but I can't remember the name. The other system was heavy on automation but also very expensive and not practical for our needs.

We like what we THINK 3PL is capable of, but disappointed because it has not been fully integrated with our database after years of use.

Pros

It has a lot of capabilities, and is fairly easy to maneuver in within the system. We just need it to fully integrate all the information we input into 3PL into our system.

Cons

The fact that it won't integrate fully with our driver and customer database.

Pros

I appreciate the fact that the system is intuitive and simple. You tell it what it needs and it does the rest.

Cons

We have not found many cons. Getting a ticket answered in a timely manner was definitely an issue.

Functioning WMS.

Pros

The software is functionally designed with 3PLs in mind. The software is probably one of the cheaper solutions in the market. The help videos under the "Office Hours" are very useful. There are some folks that work in customer support that are very knowledgeable, if you can get hold of them.

Cons

The company promises a lot in terms of coming features and developments and has yet to deliver and customer support leaves a lot to be desired. It is apparent they spend a lot of money on advertising to attract new customers, but from what I have experienced they don't care much in terms of retaining their customer base. For example, I have an open help ticket almost a month old, I have reached out to customer support several times now with no communication back from 3PL on the issue - prompting me to place this very review. Mobile app is particularly buggy, and their mobile support outfit is particularly unresponsive.

working with 3p has been nothing but the best! Yes, 3pl might take longer than usual to respond to certain inquiries but lets be realistic here, we as humans can only do so much in a day! If I need a quick response I simply call 3pl and provide them my case # and they help right away! It is a very straight forward system to use and is very simple to navigate. Smart View update is looking to be a great update to help in so many new functions that are very easy to manage! I use 3pl all day everyday! Love the help I get from all agents over there.

Pros

It is a very straight forward software to manage. Smart View update seems to be a lot helpful!!

Cons

The fact that I had to learn the new update, but with the help of the 3pl team I was able to figure things out. not so much a Con. lol...

Pros

It is easy to learn and easy to navigate and has most of the basic features that any store would need (Neither more nor less). good relation of groups to microgroups. It is very effective and useful to scan barcodes, I think the best is online access for our customers, the customization of packing lists makes the user experience is satisfactory and clear. and what makes this tool superior to the others is the ability to access everything remotely without intermediaries.

Cons

The billing module is really confusing. for my cocept this application is made for small organizational structures. has low performance (Slowness) with high data increases, I'm not very satisfied with customer service, it's fine but it can be better. The cost for small businesses can be high, the return on investment is not short term. (Of course it depends on how much you move)

I wouldn't recommend using 3PL Central due to the terrible customer support and their slowness in resolving open tickets that are created when they complete upgrades etc.

Pros

Ease of use for small 3PL's and adequate functionality for the cost. The functionality meets basic ecommerce fulfilment and distribution needs.

Cons

The worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. Customer service staff are woefully inadequately trained. Customer service responses are vague and it is obvious that the CS representatives first response is only to document a response within 3PL Central's reporting structure. Coordination with 3PL Central's development team is virtually impossible and the CS reps that attempt to provide updates on bugs or attempts at integration are stonewalled by the development team.

We had/still have a small number of orders and shipments but this has allowed us to remove so much wasted time and energy from our day. We were just so unorganized before. The ability to access everything remotely has been a big help.

Cons

This has fit our needs perfectly. I can tell by using it that it can handle much bigger operations than we have but it has been great for our application as well.

Terrible support, Lack of integration bad UI..

Its very very basic, The interface seems to have been designed in 1993. It lacks straightforward integration with any standard shopping cart Shopify, Bigcommerce but worst of all when its time to move on & you try to cancel the software you will find that in the small print they have trapped you into another 12 months Clearly entrapment is the only way they can retai customers..
