I highly recommend you give Therasoft Online a try. Your practice will never be the same. The amount of money and time you will save is incredible. I challenge you to increase your productivity and revenue. You won't regret it!

Pros

Therasoft Online is the only program you will EVER need to run a dynamic practice whether small or large. What seperates Therasoft Online from other companies is their willingness to adjust the program to meet your needs. This program is not a boring template that in most cases is limited or useless. The company continues to update and tweak the program so you will always have the latest technology and BEST product available in the market today. I LOVE being able to talk with a live person who is helpful, courteous, and willing to take the time to help me when I call. They exhibit a high level of professionalism. Most importantly, I know Therasoft Online values my business and my time. Therasoft Online is extremely easy to navigate. I did my research and found that only Therasoft Online can meet all of my practice's needs and keep me smiling.

Cons

Honesty, I can not think of one negative related to this company or software.

Integration of features, responsive customer service, and centralized billing and payment.

Pros

I love the comprehensive set of features offered by Therasoft. It has allowed me to stick with one vendor for all the functions I need to run my practice, and keeps me from having to maintain financial and operational relationships with multiple vendors.

Cons

The interface is not as intuitive as I would like, which has resulted in some difficulty with creating notes and setting appointments. Also, the structure of the intakes isn't as organized as I would prefer. the alphabetical headings of the intake doesn't make sense to me, and they could be better organized under categories such as History of Present Illness, Symptoms (divided by d/o on the page), Social History, MSE, SA History, etc. Doing this consistently would allow the intake to flow more smoothly, especially for someone like me who is new to the software.

Bitter sweet, closing pages or changing dates on its own is not easy to handle.

Pros

It has reminders for the things we need to complete so every time you open your page it pops up, so it is helpful.

Cons

It closes something I am working on and then I need to start over, or actually I am not able to use some features the same, like to copy documents for the treatment plants.

Overall, I highly recommend Therasoft. My experience with them is that they are accommodating and caring. The billing services are excellent, as my biller \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] is very communicative and efficient. Switching over to Therasoft has definitely improved my business experience.

Easy and quick to implement and set up; quick turnaround time when tickets are entered for improvements or issues; quick response of customer service; caring support staff; clean, easy to use interface

Cons

The pricing structure is a little off putting to me compared to other EHR's I have used and talked with.

Reason for choosing Therasoft Online

I needed a one stop shop where I could have EHR use and a biller all in one place and with an affordable price.

Given that technology is often cumbersome and time consuming to learn, it is impossible to get away with not having some sense of being tech savvy to utilize any software, especially if it is dealing with insurance companies. With that said, Therasoft does maintain a less complicated and smooth process once a user has worked through the entire process of filing claims and maintaining records. I appreciate being able to communicate easily with my office manager (as she works remotely in another state) what has been done in a day with a single screen and appreciate that the third party payor process is smooth most of the time and easy to decipher how things may have gone awry or if payment has been made. I am very appreciative there are real people to communicate with and although likely scattered all over, it is not difficult to access them and ask questions with a reasonable turn around. As for cats, I just don't see how they would even be interested in our currency. More than likely, they are just pissed off that I have moved them off the computer so I can use Therasoft. ;)

Everything saved in one place - progress notes, tx plans, assessments, billing. customer service is responsive and helps almost any problem

Cons

It's just not that user friendly at times. It takes a long time to process and save things before being allowed to move on to the next. There are a ton of steps to take for each process, to the point that I stopped trying to learn new things or ways to use it due to the complexity- you have to memorize the steps because they aren't obvious or logical.

I love how there are step by step instructions on how to do everything right on the home page. If I have questions, there are videos on how to complete insurance claims, add clients, etc. Very user friendly!

Cons

My claims weren't going through due to an issue with my NPI, yet this was taken care of immediately by Petra. No issues now.

The "Drop to Paper" claims' process with Blue Cross/Blue Shield has been an ongoing problem. Information processed this way is difficult to track and results in delayed payment. Week before last I called Customer Service and Petra answered. She heard my issue and explored my concerns far more than I ever expected. At some point, because two claims had been cleared by Emdeon but BC/BS had no record, she suggested filing the claims electronically--directly to BC/BS. And, just like that both claims cleared immediately!! I checked today and the information was confirmed approved and paid by BC/BS February 2, 2016--just 1-2 days after submission. This is outstanding news for me and even bigger news for all BC/BS claims now managed by "Drop to Paper". Please handsomely reward Petra for taking this step and the welcomed outcome. This will ultimately mean a great deal to providers, as it hastens the process. And, after all, even BC/BS must no longer want to handle paper claims, if possible. Thank you Petra for your tremendous assistance and vision that will positively impact countless providers. A Very Appreciative Customer, Dr. Barbara Roberts

Pros

It was easy to use thankfully, because no one was ever able to help navigate the system or correct mistakes made on their end.

Cons

Absolutely no customer service. Urgent requests were responded to several weeks later. Was told contradictory information. Account set up on their end incorrectly. They would not work with me to correct it. Would not recommend its use. I would rather pay more and actually have someone who was there to help me when I needed it.

Ease of use, convenience, complete program, and efficiency.

Pros

Customer service! Holistic service! Integration! The program is a lot easier than it may look. The integrated calender is the focal point of the software. I also like the mobile schedule.

Cons

The button to click to save a note does not always respond. Otherwise, Therasoft is the most complete mental health software I have come across after two years struggling to find a good integrated software for my practice.

Just one con: the price is the high compared with the others sofware avaliable. Pros: easy to lear, great assistance, excellent customer services - Irina is patjient, sweet, deficated. Billing department is SUPER, no words to thanks the billing department because they fixed my billing system. I used to have an employee but she didn't know what she was doing and I lost a lot of $ . All payment are received in direct deposit, insurance are checked before my first session, information are entered the system whiteout a waiting time. If I fax a initial assessment with the client information , it is added to therasoft before the end of the day. The insurance information is provided in a couple hours, to give me the option to accept or not the insurance. I am very happy with the full package. Thanks for the awesome work, and worried free! Plus all my colleges are worried about the new DSM V and therasoft provided the most peaceful, easy transition from DSM IV to V and I am very relax when every one I know is going to trainings, can not und e stand what is going on and all my clients already have the new code! Great job therasoft team! Thanks, thanks, thanks!
