Pros

The tool is incredible and grown so much in the last fews years. The team that support Thomas are of great value. They place a high priority on their clients needs.

Cons

Sometimes you need to refresh yourself on the outputs of profiles i.e. DISC etc.

The Customer experience has been fantastic as well as technical knowledge and the R&D put into the tools

Pros

Have been using Thomas Psychometric tools for the last 20 years. Candidates confirm that they are incredibly accurate in almost all cases, easy to complete and offer great feedback. The tools for organisations to support individuals throughout their employment are outstanding.

Cons

The platform removes some of the other tools on offer by Thomas. It is not the cheapest offering but I do think offers value for money. Use it widely and you will get alot out of it.

Excellent. Looking forward to more Intergrations with TEAMs and/or with Skills based (Talent Marketplace) platforms, so users do not need to go to several data sources for development info.

Pros

Clarity and ease of use of platform. User friendly for HR and for leaders. The upgrade makes the difference between each Assess and Connect much clearer. The ability to use with candidates

Cons

Challenging inviting employees to both Connect and then Assess (or visa versa), from the point of view of 1) explaining to employees (perhaps need more instructions on platform and/or possibility of sending customised msg in "connect" like in "assess") 2) technically adding names - doesn't autocomplete email addresses of people already in "Connect" or in "Assess". For adding emails in bulk, Outlook separates email address with semi-colons, the platform separates with commas and lists. Perhaps there is nothing that can be done. Informing in case adding people to both rooms can be made less cumbersome. Hard to explain to employees that they need to switch from Private to Public after completing assessment. Often need to send reminders. Could add msg on the platform. AI functionality (ASK Thom) is great. But could go further for individuals trying to understand their own profiles. Responses could be longer. And in the future perhaps more development recommendations (for employees and their managers) I am struggling with completion reports - to check who has and hasn't completed for a particular workshop. Am checking 1 by 1. Or setting up the participants as a Team and then checking from there. See comment on integrations.

We have had a great experience with Thomas over the years. Personally, I (as the account manager at our organisation) have always found them very accommodating, always on hand to help, very fair and flexible.

Pros

The ease of use from both a customer standpoint and from the candidate perspective. The reports are easy to understand and download. The range of assessments are great for the variety of disciplines we hire for and works across all levels.

Cons

It would be useful to have an option that supports the nurodivergent community or have an adaptation for it.

Completely satisfied. The company is very customer orientated and at every point in the process of working with Thomas Assess I find the service efficient, supportive and knowledgeable. I have had great virtual support in the past with setting up and managing the 360 degree facility and personal support and customer care from my customer support link Olga.

Its simplicity and clarity - the products are very user-friendly and provide depth and insight for candidates without needing extensive time to complete. Clients report that they gain new and useful information about their performance and their development needs and the tools offer excellent guidance on ways to progress in their roles

Cons

Nothing - its is fantastic. I took a little time to get acquainted with the process for setting up and customising the 360 Degree tool when I first used this facility but with some guidance from the virtual IT support at Thomas this was soon sorted.

Excellent, as stated support is always readily available and all the team we deal with are experts who you can turn to.

Pros

A great easy to use product. Fabulous customer service every time from Henriette when we are in need of any support whatsoever. The reports generated are detailed and this provides us with a great basis for effective feedback to all.

Cons

When I first started using the tool I did find it a little difficult to navigate due to the drop down headers and not knowing which to choose, however once i had completed with Henriette it all became clearer.

Overall, the experience with Thomas Assess have been a pleasure. From pre-sales to implementation to post-implementation support and account management the team has ensured that everything has run smoothly.

Pros

The onboarding experience was professional and supportive, with ongoing support throughout the setup and use of the platform. As a platform, Thomas Assess is intuitive and easy to administer. The dashboard view streamlines the process and the reports provide insightful feedback for interview preparation. The subscription model also allows for unlimited assessments, enabling effective cost management. Every candidate undertaking an assessment also receives automated feedback via the platform, enhancing their overall experience regardless of the outcome.

Cons

The improvement wishlist is focused on small tweaks that would streamline the process further: - To have the EQ assessment available when sending invitations from within a role. - To have the ability to toggle off the Learning Environment requirements (showing the actual Aptitude score on the dashboard). - Check-boxes or dropdown lists to enable on-the-fly toggling of characteristics on the dashboard.

Reason for choosing Thomas

The switch was made from the Matrigma (JvR) - not in the initial list. The alternatives considered are not in the list - Odyssey (Evalex), Adapt-G (Psytech) and a few others. Thomas Assess was selected because: It offers managed (fixed) costs (the subscription model with unlimited assessments). The other options relied on one person for administration (only a psychometrist could retrieve assessments).

We have been using PPA and GIA for the past 25 years and it is an integral part of our recruitment process, we know which personalities suit specific job roles in our organisation.

Pros

I love the online portal, it is really easy to use. Then once the assessments are complete the reports are so detailed and have great guidance.

Cons

We used to get a training session included in our renewal price due to the number of assessments we run each year, but haven't on the latest renewal.

Alessandra (my AM) could not be more helpful - I always get real value from our check in sessions and come away with other ideas and she is super helpful with any queries that I have.

Pros

Great level of service and support. Feedback from candidates is generally very positive and find the reports to be accurate (we mainly use the PPA)

Cons

The 360 profiling tool isn't the easiest to navigate throughout the whole process. The reports aren't the most user friendly either

Overall, the entire process—from introduction to implementation and now regular use of the platform—has been smooth and efficient. While we encountered a few minor hiccups, as is expected with any new system, our account manager \[sensitive content hidden\] provided prompt and effective support. This has made the experience positive, and one we would recommend.

Pros

We have found Thomas Assess to be a fantastic addition to our recruitment processes both for our early careers recruitment and experienced hires. It's reports provide us as employers with detailed insights on prospective candidates that not only support the recruitment process, but also support their onboarding and ultimate success with us as employees.

Cons

For some, it is easier to have an assessment platform that offers you a clear score for candidates, so they know quite easily whether to proceed or not. So whilst Thomas Assess doesn't provide this, it forces you to look at candidates more holistically which is a benefit, opposed to a con.

A good platform for assess someone to measure their competency skills. Thomas questions are designed in a manner to test each persons competency from time to time

Pros

It is a platform to assess the candidates and see their competencies. It is easy to use, and it assist lot companies to assess their candidates after interviews to make sure they are hiring competent people with their question and answers they usually ask to assess the credibility of the people during the recruitment process.

Cons

Nothing. I think Thomas was created wisely is the platform that you will like the most because even after the assessment they will keep on interacting with you they usually send questions to assess you from time to time.

Fantastic. Looking forward to continuing using the platform in the future. I genuinely believe it will help us with our hiring.

Pros

It's very easy to use as both an administrator and a candidate. It gives a great candidate experience, which helps portray our brand in the desired way. The results are easy to digest, and to compare against other candidates.

Cons

It's minor, but I do find it slightly frustrating that the emotional intelligence aspect of the assessment is in a separate area on the assessment platform.
