Pros Great client support, intuitive user interface with very low training requirements, easy integration with our recruitment software and robust science to underpin it all. We're very happy with our choice to leverage Thomas for recruitment and employee development. Cons While the platform is easy to use and the integration makes it easy to work with candidates' results in Workable (our ATS), occasionally you still need to pull all the results of a group of candidates into a spread-sheet to work with them outside the native systems. This is particularly useful in identifying blind spots and the training and development interventions which can be introduced. Also, as the company is moving towards a Project Based Organization, this feature helps in assembling the most ideal team composition based on the comparison with the actual team. Cons The use of the Thomas International PPA System for the purpose of job profiling require a high degree of mastery of PPA profile interpretations. This may warrant support from the Thomas International team to ensure that the job profiling is done in manner which maximizes the potential of the software. Then they bill you in full and final and add GST months later and threaten to take action if you do not pay the revised bill. Just a shoddy operation and not what it was when I used in the UK.
