It has definitely made it much quicker to get an estimate out to a client. I do have to check some items as it is not always perfect. Overall, I am happy I purchased the software and would recommend it. Pros The updated pricing that they send monthly to enable to do the estimates. Pros Used to be very nice for estimating and doing sketches of kitchens and baths, was even able to sketch drawings to obtain building permits. Cons If you want to do an estimate for a client that has pricing only it's fine, if you need to submit a sketch of a floor plan it's ok, anything other than that is garbage, studio must have been designed by someone with no building or construction skills or knowledge of this trade. I find the program to be a total waste of time when it comes to studio, they took a good program with lots of potential and turned it into garbage. I recommend Clear Estimates as a good alternative. Pros The software works okay, if Xactware will let you log in. Cons I was locked out from using the software the day after Xactware charged my credit card for the monthly subscription fee. When I called customer service, they tried to sell me some kind of upgraded technical support for an additional fee. I'm now on day 15 locked out of a software that I've paid for. Worse yet, this is not the first time. I had the same problem with Xactimate (a different product from the same company) last year. The software itself is not very powerful either. It works okay for estimating small jobs. Alternatives considered [Clear Estimates](https://www.capterra.com/p/24826/Clear-Estimates/) Reasons for choosing XactRemodel I didn't. Oh and forget about customer service unless you want to pay $20 a call to resolve an issue. Pros The desktop version of the software was powerful (but not intuitive). Cons The platform is being replaced in Dec. 2021 by ExactRemodel Studio which has NONE of the power and functionality of the current version. They have made it available to current subscribers so I can say with all certainty that I will be moving to another solution. I can't overemphasize how bad ExactRemodel Studio is! I’ve locked myself out of the program...and countless other thing due to the fact that I’m a caveman. Pros I found XactRemodel while searching through hundreds of programs and it has been a miracle for me. It makes my estimates a breeze and extremely accurate. Being able to adjust your prices and save them for use in the future is handy as well. Cons Learning the ropes was a bit difficult and finding exactly what I’m looking for can be a bit difficult due to the huge catalog of options (so that ones a pro and con).
