I really like this software better than any of the other I have used. The customer service for the most part, except ACA, is always quick with their responses.

Pros

The navigation is easy to use, I like being able to see the history on compensation changes and PTO availability.

Cons

Some of the programs required more training then the initial roll out, the ACA was confusing for us. We had an issue with our 1094C getting it corrected.

Overall, I like and would not switch to another payroll program. I do like the fact that they continually ask for feedback and suggestions and try to accommodate.

Pros

It makes payroll, HR and benefits easier. Onboarding new employees is also simplified with all of the forms, etc entered into one place.

Cons

Sometimes the procedures are a little confusing. For example, during Open Enrollment - I had questions and it took too long for a response. When I did get one - it wasn't clear on what to do.

Pros

Ease of access is great. Employees can easily edit their timecards for missed/incorrect punches, which makes time tracking a breeze!

Cons

Integrations with outside vendors is sometimes difficult. Employee Navigator file feeds overwrite information that is entered directly into . Also, customer support was not always available timely.

Our company has used since 2017 and our employees, administrators and managers like the convenience and easy access to employee information.

Pros

Great customer service, user friendly, easy setup, excellent reports and everything in one platform (payroll, recruiting, onboarding, HR, benefit enrollment, spending accounts, COBRA).

Cons

Sometimes there are glitches with software updates to the system, but they are usually resolved in a reasonable amount of time.

I use for timekeeping and benefit and spending account access. Before Paylocity I'd have to track time in one place and do benefit enrollment and track my flex account in another. Having one place with one log in is wonderful and a time saver. I also like the ease of giving recognition to my coworkers.

Pros

is very easy to navigate, very user friendly. I use Paylocity for timekeeping and benefit and spending account access. Entering time is pretty easy and the Spending Account tracking is great.

Cons

It annoys me that it times out so quickly while I am working on my time card and that it does not save the details I have entered. I would prefer an autosave feature. Easier to modify then to remember what I entered. I get pulled away from my computer alot, so if I just entered a days' worth of activities and get pulled away and forget to come back, I lose everything I entered.

Overall I would like to change HRIS providers. When it comes to construction companies, is not a good fit. I would never recommend Paylocity to any construction company out there.

Pros

Their Payroll System is user friendly. When it comes to payroll, if you do not have billable hours or wages that you need to track, it is very easy to do so.

Cons

Their support team really does not know what they are doing. Almost every call that I make, I find out the answer before the support person does. Once in a blue moon do I actually get someone that understands what I really need help on when I call for support.

As a whole the experience has been mostly a positive one. As I mentioned before, our workflows and timing have improved thanks to the way works and the more we learn as a team the better options we can offer to our employees.

Pros

It has improved the payroll workflow at our company and has significantly reduced the amount of time it took us to create and audit a batch when compared with our previous service provider. It has also made it easier to catch errors with the different type of warnings that pop-up when processing payroll.

Cons

On a personal level I think our training could've been better (more extensive and tailored) and focused on the specific tasks we perform in our role and in our company instead of general sessions that cover basic items for any company/client

Pros

Always evolving to the needs of the market and employers. They are always open to product suggestions and feedback from the client. The service team is very helpful and responds in a timely manner.

Cons

My only suggestion would be more communication around what and more specifically when things are going to change for the company, so that we could tell our teams that things are changing.

Overall I would say moving to has been an excellent experience and would recommend to other businesses.

Pros

was very easy to launch and then use for HR, Payroll, and Time & Labor. Training was thorough and implementation was smooth. For the most part, employees like being able to clock in and out and request time off through the app. Time & Labor makes time tracking very convenient.

Cons

Some of our employees with Android phones have issues with clocking in/out and also with the allowed geofenced areas.

Overall experience has been great, so glad we made the switch. It was a fairly simple implementation. The app is easy to use. takes out the headache of Payroll.

Pros

We've enjoyed the ease of use of the system. The support when we do not know how to do something is great also.

Cons

Not always being able to speak with our Account Manager. We still get our issues resolved but it would be nice to build the comradery with your account manager.

Pros

The streamlined interface. It's more intuitive than other payroll software systems I've used. I really like the new features that make this even easier to navigate.

Cons

There is only one place to find certain things, and trying to remember where to find, say, the access tab for users, is a pain. I wish things didn't live in just one place.

Wonderful- it is a breath of fresh air to have customer support and onboarding that is so helpful and takes end user experience to the next level.

Pros

It is super user friendly, customizable and has a ton of integrations to automate so many processes.

Cons

Honestly it has been so wonderful! Better than expected! There are no cons that I can think of! So much better than other systems.

My experience has been pleasant so far. I love all the learning opportunities I have access too with . There are some items that my company pays for that I feel is a great value for me not having to do the heavy lifting of certain processes.

Pros

I like the ease of using . I can find everything in a spot that makes sense and if I can't find something the AI search is really helpful. Also, like the access to the articles for further learning, allowing more ease of my usage on this site.

Cons

If I had to pick, I guess not being able to ask our account manager at ease. Though I have no problems with the other employees that help when account manager is not available, it would just be nice to work with a certain team more consistently.

Pros

is easy to use whether you are using the mobile app or the website. You can find all of your employment information easily.

Cons

Sometimes it takes a while to figure out where everything is again after changes are made. But once you figure it out, its like it never changed.

Pros

It has been so easy to use . I was new to the application but picked it ups so quickly. I also love the timecard tracking for myself and team. The system is easy to edit and add time as needed.

Cons

I really appreciate the points system application for tracking our hourly team members. I do think it would be more beneficial to allow managers to edit rules and add an automated note for totals.

I love the employee management feature. Timecard tracking is user friendly and mobile access has been great tool for our team members. I love the customer support chat feature. It has been a helpful tool when learning new processes.

Reporting structure was difficult at first. Customer support gave me the knowledge to simplify and filter my reports.

Pros

I enjoy the customer service, how quickly they are able to answer and help with any problem. It is such an easy program to use. The features are very beneficial to our team members.

Cons

I do wish there was more company personalization. The home feature is coming soon and we can add the handbook and logo which helps but I wish there was more options for video upload and community was easier to connect.

I've been with them for over 3 years now, and they have a good functioning system but the problem solving is not what I expect.

Pros

Easy to use, not expensive at all. The time tracking is good for employees and accuracy of it as well.

Cons

Customer Support. They take so long to reply to your inquiries and sometimes problems cannot be fixed or back and forth between different departments.

Pros

is one of the more intuitive and user-friendly HRIS out there! It's easy to navigate and find what you're looking for without having to constantly reach out and ask questions/

Cons

There seems to be some gaps or lags between different modules. I recognize that they're different "products," but I wish the flow of information between them was a little cleaner.

Nearly excellent. The only complaint, which isn't really a complaint, is that when changing setup, it can be difficult to know what will trigger other changes.

Pros

Ease of use for admin and end users. Other than setup or changes to setup, the system is intuitive and easy to use.

Cons

Sometimes changes in the setup can be difficult to understand. It would be better if customer service would help in setup changes vs just providing instruction.

We have had some issue with the data integrity as there were mass changes done via Weblink both internally and by team members that have created a historical pay history mess and there is no way to resolve the issue except for manually updating.

Pros

The ease of use. The company already had when I started, however there would be things that I would've implemented differently if I was working here when Paylocity was implemented.

Cons

The reporting isn't very user dynamic, which makes it hard to filter things in Excel. The customer service isn't great, we've had numerous changes in Account Managers and are directed to Peak articles frequently.

It has the potential to be a great program once the bugs get worked out. Our Executive Account Manager, \[sensitive content hidden\], has been great to work with and a great asset to have in our corner.

Pros

I like that all information is here. Vacation, taxes, pay, direct deposit and able to communicate with other in the company.

Cons

That some areas don’t communicate to other areas. You have to change information in more than one area instead of changing it in one place and then it communicating to the rest. I feel as if communication could be better. For example the I-9 process changed but we did not find out until we went to work one and it was different. We were not able to prepare our managers that the process was changing.

Overall, it serves the purpose for all our needs as far as timekeeping, payroll, and reporting. It is a quick way to access all the important areas for scheduling, time keeping etc. and simple to edit as needed.

Pros

Overall, very easy to use as an administrator and the team feels it is simple to navigate as well. A good value for the investment. Love the app too!

Cons

At times the reporting can be a bit confusing. Finding a report isn't always as simple a process as desired. It takes a while to figure out.
