### "Paylocity Pulse Survey"

November 20, 2025

5.0

I previously used another HRIS platform and have transitioned to Paylocity over the last 6 months. The ease of use when navigating through the system has been such a help in creating an easy flow from process to process. Paylocity has created the best easy to navigate Payroll processes out of the HRIS systems.

Pros

I like the amount of reports that are available and created. The user friendly accessibility for someone just learning to use payroll has been largely beneficial to ensuring compliance and has created a very user friendly system.

Cons

The initial customer service reps when calling in seem to struggle with general knowledge or tasks. I think having a dedicated account manager could be beneficial.

### "Streamlining Payroll Processes"

February 12, 2026

4.0

I'm very pleased that our organization is using Paylocity! I'm ridiculously happy to tell marketers that we aren't looking to make a change.

Pros

The streamlined interface. It's more intuitive than other payroll software systems I've used. I really like the new features that make this even easier to navigate.

Cons

There is only one place to find certain things, and trying to remember where to find, say, the access tab for users, is a pain. I wish things didn't live in just one place.

### "Great Full HR solution"

January 29, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience with Paylocity was great. The system was easy to use and helped streamline HR and payroll processes.

Pros

I liked that Paylocity offers multiple modules and provides a full HR experience in one platform, making tasks easier.

Cons

I didn’t like the lack of a dedicated support rep/contact, since you can only reach support through a general email address.

### "Decided to bundle in the end"

September 25, 2025

4.0

It is overall good and getting better. They are pretty aggressive with competitive pricing so if you're looking to bundle and save, I think it's worth considering.

Pros

They offer a lot of applications on one platform. They offer a good value if you bundle it together and from an employee side, it's easy to use.

Cons

We had some issues on implementation. It was implemented before I started but I wish I was a part of the conversation. The holes from implementation led to issues later down the road.

### "Ups and Downs"

November 6, 2025

3.0

The implementation in Jan of 2024 was not done to our expentations. Overtime things have gotten better.

Pros

The payroll processing is very good. Timetracking is a better setup compated to ADP. The value of the our current set up is very good.

Cons

The employee data is very hard to correct on a mass scale and are still correcting errors from 1/24.

Overall good. I feel like the workflows could be a little more user friendly in terms of the preparation.

Pros

Time and attendance, payroll, user friendly. The modules are easy to learn. Payroll is easy to prepare and process.

Cons

Customer Service. Every time I call, it always says my rep is not available. I would recommend having calls pushed through the rep for them to answer.

### "Paylocity review"

January 28, 2026

5.0

I work for a company that uses Paylocity for pay checks, notifications, and Paid time off. It is helpful to see all of those things under one platform.

Pros

I like how I can see my auto deposited paycheck every other Friday so I can double check that it is correct.

Cons

So far, I have not run into any problems with Paylocity. Sometimes my PTO gets messed up but when I bring it up to management it gets fixed.

I've been with them for over 3 years now, and they have a good functioning system but the problem solving is not what I expect.

Pros

Easy to use, not expensive at all. The time tracking is good for employees and accuracy of it as well.

Cons

Customer Support. They take so long to reply to your inquiries and sometimes problems cannot be fixed or back and forth between different departments.

### "Paylocity checks all of the boxes!"

February 26, 2026

4.0

Overall, I like Paylocity and would not switch to another payroll program. I do like the fact that they continually ask for feedback and suggestions and try to accommodate.

Pros

It makes payroll, HR and benefits easier. Onboarding new employees is also simplified with all of the forms, etc entered into one place.

Cons

Sometimes the procedures are a little confusing. For example, during Open Enrollment - I had questions and it took too long for a response. When I did get one - it wasn't clear on what to do.

### "Ease of access, but need more support."

February 26, 2026

4.0

Pros

Ease of access is great. Employees can easily edit their timecards for missed/incorrect punches, which makes time tracking a breeze!

Cons

Integrations with outside vendors is sometimes difficult. Employee Navigator file feeds overwrite information that is entered directly into Paylocity. Also, customer support was not always available timely.

### "Paylocity is great!"

September 25, 2025

5.0

Great! We have added quite a few modules, and every one of them has added a lot of value to our business. They have simplified a lot of our processes for our team and leadership.

Pros

The ease of use and how intuitive it is to use for our staff. Most people can use it very easily without much instruction, which frees us up for other things.

Cons

I wish I could update an employee record with time and labor manager, dept info, user access, and payroll all in one screen. You can only do this at hire and then you have to go to a lot of different places to update one person. Also, our account reps change a lot. I wish we could get more consistency there and check in with us to ensure they are working well with us.

### "Love the options, wish the mobile experience was more robust."

October 10, 2025

4.0

Generally speaking, Paylocity meets our needs with a variety of modules. Customer Service is most often polite and helpful.

Pros

Paylocity offers many modules, and we are utilizing several. Payroll processing is easy, and the R & R module has worked nice for our organization.

Cons

The limitations with the Performance module is one of our biggest challenges. While there are a variety of options, one major issue for us is the inability to use to mobile app to interface with our employees for this process.

### "Customer Support "

Great experience, and with any software there's a learning curve as any new problem or issue arises and the best steps on handling it.

Pros

Customer Support is always quick to respond and help aid in a solution to any problem. Setting up new fields is handled in quick response everytime.

Cons

Ability to hands on fix issues without having to open a ticket. An option to correct a filing or payroll to reverse an error that was made in a quick and easy option would be a great feature.

### "Intuitive & Outstanding Customer Service"

November 6, 2025

5.0

I am extremely happy with it. I have used several other payroll/HR softwares (ADP, UltiPro) and Paylocity is heads above any of them.

Pros

It is extremely intuitive, the customer suppport is awesome, and it makes compliance a breeze. HR loves the benefits module - employees can easily make their annual elections on-line.

Cons

I honestly can't think of anything that I don't like. The only thing that is a challenge, however, is writing reports - that is not intuitive.

### "Easy to Use System"

November 21, 2025

4.0

Pros

The ease of use and view for each employee's profile in HR&Payroll. Information is easy to find and displayed neatly.

Cons

Occasionally, there are tech glitches that can take a bit to be resolved. Requires diligence with follow up. When there is an issue for spending accounts, benefits, or HR&Payroll, sometimes it can be tough to get all account managers to collaborate and deep dive the issue.

### "Benefit to cost ratio challenge accepted and met!"

November 21, 2025

5.0

Overall, we are very satisfied with Paylocity. It fulfills the needs of a business of our size. We have looked at other providers and don't feel a need to change when the benefit to cost ratio is well met.

Pros

It is a great value, with base features provided while also adding additional features (at a cost) that other providers have but at a much greater expense. The reporting is varied and works for any situation we have encountered. I have found it easy to create any reports that were not already developed within their software. Time tracking for the staff and time approval are easy to use. If there is an issue we have a dedicated support that works with us to make any corrections

Cons

It doesn't interact with our ERP which requires us to import some of our data into Paylocity. (Such as job hours and overtime for technicians) We also enter all of our commission payroll manually. To be fair some of our commissions would be a manual entry no matter the software.

### "Excellent!"

November 6, 2025

4.0

No HRIS is perfect, but Paylocity is pretty close! Soon after I joined my current org, the payroll administrator had a medical emergency, and I had to unexpectedly run payroll. I called support, and the rep was able to walk me through the process.

Pros

Paylocity is by far the best HRIS I have used. The user interface is easy, and customer support is great.

Cons

Paylocity is unable to track our PTO accurately. In addition, independent contractors who have a corporation are listed by their corporate names without anywhere to enter their individual name (therefore I have to remember that Sunshine LLC = \[sensitive content hidden\] and manually adjust that on reports if I need people's names).

### "Best payroll Platform ever"

September 25, 2025

5.0

Paylocity has made our payroll and HR processes more efficient, accurate, and stress-free. It’s a powerful platform with excellent support and features. It is very easy to learn. There is always someone a call away to answer any questions we might have. Their customer support it is great! I like the extra features that has besides the payroll. LMS is one of those for onboarding. Time tracking integrates seamlessly with payroll, saving us hours of manual work and ensuring accuracy.

Pros

Paylocity has been an excellent solution for managing our payroll and HR needs. It combines powerful features with ease of use, making it a valuable tool for our team.

Cons

The platform provides solid value, especially with payroll and time tracking integrated. However, some of the cost structures (like check delivery fees) could be clearer. I did not like that if I make a mistake on a check, I can have it voided and reprinted, but for this one check we get a $20 delivery charge.

Having a Service team available was worth the switch from our previous software! When we call Service they are very patient & polite.

Pros

The Service department is very helpful & quick to respond when we call or email with any questions we have.

Cons

The overall experience with Paylocity is Satisfactory. Everything works as it should. The ACA stuff is still confusing to me.

Pros

Ease of use, the Help button, all electronic for checks and W-2s and 1095s. I pretty much taught myself how to use this software.

Cons

The implementation process was a bit confusing as some items that were to be copied over from the previous payroll software was not. Also, the ACA stuff is confusing.

### "Paylocity is great!"

September 25, 2025

Paylocity has been great to work with. At a small company, I wear many hats in the work I do so I really appreciate the support in all the things that come up. There are often unique scenarios and they're always ready to help me.

Pros

I rave all the time about the support that Paylocity provides to their clients. It's rare to wait on hold and you get someone right away willing to help you, walk you through your questions and follow up as needed. Paylocity has great technology, training materials and is easy to use!

Cons

If I had to say a negative, I would just say not having direct access to our assigned customer service rep unless directly asking to schedule an appointment with them. But otherwise, support is still great!

Pros

I love that you get a dedicated account manager that can help you through your work day. Also, the Paylocity system is very easy to use.

Cons

You have to know what links together in the background to make a certain parts of the system work. Once you have that down it is very user friendly.
