Overall I want to continue the partnership because I enjoy the platform. It is very easy to use for all levels.

Pros

Paylocity is very easy to use and is good value for the money. The time and labor portal is also good.

Cons

Setup/Implementation wasn't the best and can improve customer service so that you don't get "articles" sent to customers.

Great system great support from Paylocity. It is an easy system to use for all your HR needs. Very happy with it.

Pros

Paylocity is a user-friendly HR system. Weather you have a payroll, time tracking or reporting issue Paylocity has easy access to customer support. I have been using Paylocity for over 8 years and it has never failed me. Up to date information and yearly conferences to keep you informed make it great system.

Cons

None to report. Paylocity is quick to resolve any issues. If they cannot figure something out, they will dig deeper and get back to you in a timely fashion.

Overall, I think the pros to Paylocity outweigh the cons. No system is going to be perfect, but this one makes most things easy. Wish the service would catch up.

Pros

The system is truly the easiest HRIS product I've ever used. It's intuitive, most areas are easy to navigate and it makes our work days easier.

Cons

When things aren't work, customer service can truly be lacking. The support person is often the middle man between you and the people that can actually solve the problem and everyone ends up frustrated.

I have enjoyed all the features that Paylocity offers. It is so easy to navigate and user friendly for some of the most novice managers.

Pros

It has been so easy to use Paylocity. I was new to the application but picked it ups so quickly. I also love the timecard tracking for myself and team. The system is easy to edit and add time as needed.

Cons

I really appreciate the points system application for tracking our hourly team members. I do think it would be more beneficial to allow managers to edit rules and add an automated note for totals.

I do not want to recommend them to any of my knowns. We want to leave, but we have spent so much time and energy building our profile over this, so still waiting that the things might change!!

Pros

Payroll is good, everything is clearly mentioned, payment processing is smooth, no issues in that. HR Edge can be a good support

Cons

But we are not satisfied with their overall services, sold highly of, but you face the reality when you are inside the system. Communication, customer support is negligible. you have to wait for days to hear back from them. I do not want t0 recommend them to any of my knowns. Their system is hard to understand.

Our experience has been mixed. We are a small company and unfortunately don't often get the help we need from Paylocity. Very often when we ask for help we are sent links to articles to read or get generic answers that aren't very helpful. It really feels like because we are a small company we are pushed aside in a way that large companies aren't.

Pros

Paylocity has really helped streamline our onboarding process and saved tons of time. We also use Time & Labor for our hourly employees which makes tracking time much easier.

Cons

Settings and permissions can be extremely complicated and changing one thing very often breaks something else. Even when working directly with Paylocity support, things still break because very often aren't very forward thinking.

Pros

The ease and simplicity to run payroll. The team loves the ability to enter expenses as they incur them but not submit until the month end. Love that you also have great training videos for onboarding new hires without me having to go to another source.

Cons

The change to the way the PTO requests come in via email. They used to tell you notes the employee put in such as a note stating only a half day or full day. The emails no longer do this and therefor that is an extra step for me to open to see prior to going to the department supervisor for approval.

Nearly excellent. The only complaint, which isn't really a complaint, is that when changing setup, it can be difficult to know what will trigger other changes.

Pros

Ease of use for admin and end users. Other than setup or changes to setup, the system is intuitive and easy to use.

Cons

Sometimes changes in the setup can be difficult to understand. It would be better if customer service would help in setup changes vs just providing instruction.

Overall Paylocity has had a positive experience, now that I know how to navigate around the website and the app I can find my check stubs easily, I can how much available leave I have, if I need to request time off, etc.

Pros

Paylocity is simple to use to see my check stubs, make a time off requests and even change my benefits for insurance.

Cons

In the beginning I had to navigate the website to learn where to see my time off requests and where to find my check stubs.. I wouldn't say it's 100 percent user friendly, but with time and navigation it is understandable..

Implementation teams were wonderful. I wish we had follow ups with our team once implementation was complete.

Pros

Paylocity is easy to use and covers most of what we need. I like having online onboarding and tracking. I would like to use the recruiting features more. I will have to look at the trainings for recruiting.

Cons

Calculation of PTO for employees. We have struggled with the payroll and time and labor calculation of PTO. We would also like to be able to allow employees to see their points on the mobile app.

Paylocity is a good payroll platform. There's a few glitches and hiccups, but overall it delivers what I need.

Pros

Easy to use for employees. I like that employees has the ability to send corrections for their timecards, it gives them responsibility too for their hours, and not just the supervisor.

Cons

Pulling payroll reports for specific periods are not easy. I heard feedbacks where employees cannot login through their mobile app even if they are inside the building.

There are often times where is stops working or glitches for a period of time. This can be frustrating.

Its an in-depth application that does many things other apps don't or can't. The services offered on the HR, Time & Labor and benefits sides are plentiful. The downside is that because of this the room for errors is also plentiful.

Pros

Its capabilities for doing multi company payrolls and time and labor seamless export to a payroll batch.

Cons

There are a lot of areas that can trip up a payroll processor or HR user. The help function isn't always helpful. It can be difficult to find the info you need.

I like how easy it is to navigate the system. The customer service is awesome when I need assistance.

I don't have any complaints. I cannot think of anything negative to say about Paylocity. The company is top-notch.

My experience has been great and I'd recommend Paylocity highly! We have regularly scheduled meetings to ensure understanding of any new questions.

Pros

Customer Care is top notch! I am able to reach a benefits specialist whenever needed to assist with implementation, open enrollment and training. The online training materials are most helpful for activities performed on a less frequent basis.

Cons

I can't think of anything that makes me unhappy about using Paylocity. I hear feedback from employees and the one request I've heard is to be able to use a mobile device for benefit enrollment as a new employee.

Pros

The ability to customize this platform is amazing. I like that it’s a true all in one payroll, HR, and recruiting tool. The platform is more affordable than the rest.

Cons

The set up is very time consuming and tedious. It’s taking far more time that I could have ever imagined.

Very time consuming and difficult. Some features work, a lot do not. Our old platform had a 1800 number for support.

Pros

I like that I can see my vacation time. I like that our incoming candidates can upload their IDs for the I9. I think Courtney Everly Hulme is great at helping, never making me double and triple emails for manual e-verify.

Cons

It is not the easiest system to use for any level at our company. My favorite is when Paylocity rolled out a new i9 process and didn't let anyone at our company know. That was a fun Friday afternoon especially when there isn't a support desk for our GMs.

Pros

The platform is very user friendly for both administrators and employees alike. The implementation process was smooth.

Cons

The mobile app for administrators is extremely limited. It would be extremely beneficial to have additional features in the app to support recruiting specifically.

It's very user friendly. Customer support is very helpful. I like the trainings that it offers. Have had a great experience so far.

Sometimes there is updates done without us knowing and it changes things, so trying to figure out a different way to do something can be a little aggravating.

We've been with Paylocity a bit over a year and we've been able to roll out several learning courses, annual performance reviews, and it's been a success with implementing this tool to all our employees. The ability to also have a Paylocity app is also a nice feature for employees out on the field. We also enjoy the Community Module and providing several announcements to employees.

Pros

Paylocity has provided less administrative burden on the HR team with enhancement in onboarding new hires, recruitment, and the performance reviews dashboard.

Cons

Paylocity needs a few enhancements in having better reporting. We have to use report writer for special requests.

It’s been a solid 8 out of 10. The customer service is good. Sometimes they’re slow but they’re all nice.

Pros

The integrations and one stop shop for many features. The ease to get paystubs and benefits information as well

Cons

The reporting could be more intuitive and have more features. Sometimes you need something to be in a certain form but it doesn’t allow for it.

It is an system to use and provides quite a bit of flexibility in what an HRIS needs for an employee lifecycle. Paylocity continues to add additional features, which are helpful.

Pros

Employee management is great within the Paylocity system. It easy to navigate and onboard employees.

Cons

Depending on the account manager, you may have trouble getting the help needed. We have experienced having an account manager that was not knowledgeable and it was frustrating. If you have an experienced account manager, it makes things a lot easier.

My overall experience has been positive. It was extremely difficult to learn but once I reached out there were several departments to help.

Pros

The call in formatting. Being in accounting I can get someone for what I need to answer my specific questions. I also believe Paylocity is very affordable and doesn't try to over promise and under deliver.

Cons

Probably the onboarding phase. The onboarding was difficult because we were missing some of the guidance from the payroll professionals.

Overall a good experience. When I get in touch with a service rep, they are always very helpful. I prefer handling the issue immediately and they are always very helpful.

Pros

What I like most about Paylocity is its ease of use. We have been a customer for over 12 years. We value the partnership with Paylocity

Cons

I do not have any complaints at this time except for employee banks of time are sometimes off. Also sometimes I will type in an employee search, click on the name I want and it brings me to a totally different employee.
