### "Paylocity is great!"

Great! We have added quite a few modules, and every one of them has added a lot of value to our business. They have simplified a lot of our processes for our team and leadership.

Pros

The ease of use and how intuitive it is to use for our staff. Most people can use it very easily without much instruction, which frees us up for other things.

Cons

I wish I could update an employee record with time and labor manager, dept info, user access, and payroll all in one screen. You can only do this at hire and then you have to go to a lot of different places to update one person. Also, our account reps change a lot. I wish we could get more consistency there and check in with us to ensure they are working well with us.

Overall, I do like Paylocity over other systems I've used in the past. It's easy to use and we can make our own adjustments so it works for us and our needs.

Pros

I like how the system is easy to use and navigate. It looks clean and is easy to train others on how to use it.

Cons

Sometimes tickets may take a bit too long to get resolved. Customer service is willing to help but sometimes the backend may take longer than I think it should.

Pros

The efficiency of the system overall specifically the payroll processing. It's very streamlined and easy to manage. It has everything we need.

Cons

Sometimes there are glitches in the system that are unexplained. However, I am able to call customer service and they provide solution.

Overall Paylocity has had a positive experience, now that I know how to navigate around the website and the app I can find my check stubs easily, I can how much available leave I have, if I need to request time off, etc.

Pros

Paylocity is simple to use to see my check stubs, make a time off requests and even change my benefits for insurance.

Cons

In the beginning I had to navigate the website to learn where to see my time off requests and where to find my check stubs.. I wouldn't say it's 100 percent user friendly, but with time and navigation it is understandable..

It's pretty good. The biggest thing is what I previously mentioned. And in a world where speed and accuracy is key, I believe those at service@paylocity.com need more communication about their jobs.

Pros

The response time of the customer service representatives, ease of adding new hires, and the tax registration team is my favorite.

Cons

The confusion about what the company does. Some say you do something and others say you don't. Sometimes it leaves me in limbo for over a week.

Pros

Paylocity definitely meets are needs as a small practice, I find their program easy to use. The reporting options are very flexible. Multiple ways to get help through customer service and a lot of tutorials available for training or explore options. They have a robust system for providing all of your human resource needs not just payroll. I believe Paylocity is a great company and the best for your money.

Cons

There is really nothing bad I can say against Paylocity. I have had nothing but a positive experience with them. I have not use all they have to offer, so I cannot comment on all of their programs.

Overall it's the best payroll software I've used. They are responsive and friendly when I call with an issue.

Pros

The service department is great. I enjoy working with my account manager. She works to make sure I get quick responses to issues.

Cons

It seems limited in some aspects like workflows for example. The tax department can be confusing at time when setting up new codes.

Paylocity has made our payroll and HR processes more efficient, accurate, and stress-free. It’s a powerful platform with excellent support and features. It is very easy to learn. There is always someone a call away to answer any questions we might have. Their customer support it is great! I like the extra features that has besides the payroll. LMS is one of those for onboarding. Time tracking integrates seamlessly with payroll, saving us hours of manual work and ensuring accuracy.

Pros

Paylocity has been an excellent solution for managing our payroll and HR needs. It combines powerful features with ease of use, making it a valuable tool for our team.

Cons

The platform provides solid value, especially with payroll and time tracking integrated. However, some of the cost structures (like check delivery fees) could be clearer. I did not like that if I make a mistake on a check, I can have it voided and reprinted, but for this one check we get a $20 delivery charge.

Pros

Cons

It’s been a solid 8 out of 10. The customer service is good. Sometimes they’re slow but they’re all nice.

Pros

The integrations and one stop shop for many features. The ease to get paystubs and benefits information as well

Cons

The reporting could be more intuitive and have more features. Sometimes you need something to be in a certain form but it doesn’t allow for it.

Pros

Especially good on collaboration for HR & Finance teams, a bit tricky to learn however once you learn the features it is easy to use.

Cons

We had a slow start with our original onboarding Paylocity, but it had improved since we added the latest modules.

I have nothing but good things to say about Paylocity. It is usually easy to get any information needed. The customer service team does a wonderful job anytime I have to call in.

Pros

I like how easy it is to navigate the system. The customer service is awesome when I need assistance.

Cons

I don't have any complaints. I cannot think of anything negative to say about Paylocity. The company is top-notch.

Overall, I am please with the platform. I have used a few different platforms over the years and this is by far the most user friendly. Customer support is lacking a bit but overall it is a great organization to work with.

Pros

Paylocity is generally very user friendly and intuitive. It is not difficult to navigate the platform even when unfamiliar with its processes.

Cons

My biggest challenge with Paylocity is with its customer support. I often find it difficult to get a solution to a challenge I am experiencing. I tend to have to reach out multiple times before a solution is provided.

Very time consuming and difficult. Some features work, a lot do not. Our old platform had a 1800 number for support.

Pros

I like that I can see my vacation time. I like that our incoming candidates can upload their IDs for the I9. I think Courtney Everly Hulme is great at helping, never making me double and triple emails for manual e-verify.

Cons

It is not the easiest system to use for any level at our company. My favorite is when Paylocity rolled out a new i9 process and didn't let anyone at our company know. That was a fun Friday afternoon especially when there isn't a support desk for our GMs.

Pros

I really enjoy the customer service experience. Every representative is very knowledgeable and guides me to a solution when I am stressed out dealing with a time sensitive matter(s).

Cons

Longer wait times on the phones for support recently. Also the cost of integrations and the length it takes to make them happen. However I know that is a given with any HRIS.

Pros

Paylocity is user friendly! I like the ease of use, features, updates that improve efficiency and productivity.

Cons

I dislike the tech glitches and long hold times to troubleshoot problems. Specifically, I created a workflow that required approval, with myself being the approver, and there were several completed workflow tasks that I approved but would not show as complete and stayed in Approvals.

We've been with Paylocity a bit over a year and we've been able to roll out several learning courses, annual performance reviews, and it's been a success with implementing this tool to all our employees. The ability to also have a Paylocity app is also a nice feature for employees out on the field. We also enjoy the Community Module and providing several announcements to employees.

Pros

Paylocity has provided less administrative burden on the HR team with enhancement in onboarding new hires, recruitment, and the performance reviews dashboard.

Cons

Paylocity needs a few enhancements in having better reporting. We have to use report writer for special requests.

Great system great support from Paylocity. It is an easy system to use for all your HR needs. Very happy with it.

Pros

Paylocity is a user-friendly HR system. Weather you have a payroll, time tracking or reporting issue Paylocity has easy access to customer support. I have been using Paylocity for over 8 years and it has never failed me. Up to date information and yearly conferences to keep you informed make it great system.

Cons

None to report. Paylocity is quick to resolve any issues. If they cannot figure something out, they will dig deeper and get back to you in a timely fashion.

It is an system to use and provides quite a bit of flexibility in what an HRIS needs for an employee lifecycle. Paylocity continues to add additional features, which are helpful.

Pros

Employee management is great within the Paylocity system. It easy to navigate and onboard employees.

Cons

Depending on the account manager, you may have trouble getting the help needed. We have experienced having an account manager that was not knowledgeable and it was frustrating. If you have an experienced account manager, it makes things a lot easier.

Customer support is great - whenever there is an issue or question, our account managers are on it! Paylocity is also a very easy system to use, navigate and learn for administrators and employees.

Cons

There can be gaps between the modules that leave room for holes in reporting and updates needing to happen in multiple places to take effect.

My overall experience has been positive. It was extremely difficult to learn but once I reached out there were several departments to help.

Pros

The call in formatting. Being in accounting I can get someone for what I need to answer my specific questions. I also believe Paylocity is very affordable and doesn't try to over promise and under deliver.

Cons

Probably the onboarding phase. The onboarding was difficult because we were missing some of the guidance from the payroll professionals.

I do not want to recommend them to any of my knowns. We want to leave, but we have spent so much time and energy building our profile over this, so still waiting that the things might change!!

Pros

Payroll is good, everything is clearly mentioned, payment processing is smooth, no issues in that. HR Edge can be a good support

Cons

But we are not satisfied with their overall services, sold highly of, but you face the reality when you are inside the system. Communication, customer support is negligible. you have to wait for days to hear back from them. I do not want t0 recommend them to any of my knowns. Their system is hard to understand.

My overall experience with Paylocity has been decent. I would say that I wish there was more support and that I had a stronger relationship with our account manager. We are trying to utilize the program and want to be able to use everything we are paying for.

Pros

I do enjoy the simplicity of Paylocity's HRIS system; it is easy to navigate when it comes to the performance, HR/Payroll, and self service portal.

Cons

I'm not a huge fan of the app since it feels like there is a limited amount of things you can do on it. Additionally, it feels like I would need to go on my desktop to view a lot of things.

Pros

It's an intuitive program, easy for all users. It's always being updated with new products coming out. As well, new product release is communicated effectively.

Cons

Inability to edit GL mapping myself as we constantly have changes to our structure. It would be amazing if we could map it/change it ourselves rather than having to go through the GL team each time.
