I like the Performance and onboarding piece. The A+ learning module is also great. Cons Nothing really. I like all the features. Maybe a report that can be customized for pulling info from the custom field, may already exist but i have not found it. I've been able to automate all of our spend and everything from recurring software to one-off employee requests get routed through Airbase. Really easy to administer and employees needed no training. Pros \* Helped me streamline the entire spend process at Coda.io - I route most expenses through the platform - everything from software to travel to one-off expenditures. \* Incredibly easy to use - I have never trained an employee on how to use Airbase. They log in, and it's clear what they should do. \* It creates tremendous peace of mind on spend - I don't worry about vendors charging us more than they should, people buying software they don't need, and card numbers getting stolen. \* Visibility - It's easy to know what has already been purchased, who purchased it, and how much are we spending. \* Keeps getting better - Airbase started with just digital credit cards but the tool is quickly replacing all types of spend management software internally. Cons \* Mobile app still catching up to web app, but moving quickly. \* Manually moving over old spend into Airbase by switching credit cards with vendors was tedious, but a worthwhile one-time investment, and Airbase did a lot to make it as painless as possible (found all the vendors for us that we needed to update) Review Source DM Daysi M. They are always willing to help and if representative does not have an answer/solution right away, they follow up with you. Definitely appreciated. Cons Time cards are sometimes a hassle to deal with when an employee forgets to clock in/out. Also, I was told viewing future approved PTO cannot be generated through a report. This makes it difficult when employees request same day PTO and already have future approved PTO (since it will not calculate it until day of). Pros The home screen Dashboard is one of the best features of Paylocity. So many other programs make you dive through multiple menu levels, and Paylocity's overall design makes it easy for non-technical users. Cons Reporting didn't appear to be the easiest process. Generating a report took templates to be designed. Switched from [Paychex](https://www.capterra.com/p/119841/Paychex-Flex/) Corporate moved from Paychex to Paylocity partly because of the health insurance pricing available. Onboarding is made way easier for employees as documents/videos can easily be accessed and uploaded. Cons Can be a hard to set up profiles for new users and accepting location services. Art Director Computer Software Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Works great for my team — requesting and spending money has become easy and streamlined" March 18, 2022 5.0 Overall, Airbase has been easy to learn and easy to use! As a user (non-administrator) I have found it very straight forward for the things I need to use it for. I love that it has simplified communication and spending requests (and approval of requests) between myself and our finance department. Pros The ability to request and review/track multiple budgets (via virtual cards) has been a game changer for us. What used to be a more complicated process with hard-to-track communication (using other internal messaging tools )is now so easy and requires less back and forth comms with our finance department. Requesting reimbursement for out of pocket spending is easy and streamlined as well. We also work with many outside vendors, and I am able to review and approve of invoices through Airbase. Everything is easily assigned to the right people and easy to track. I am looking forward to continuing to use the product as we grow as a company! Cons It is somewhat challenging to attach receipts to expenses. By that I mean that I get an email stating that I have an expense that needs a receipt. That part works great. But then finding the exact expense that needs the receipt, and the location where I can upload the receipt within the Airbase UI could use some improvement. It is not as intuitive as I hope and expect. However, this is a small issue for a product that otherwise works really great! Review Source SM Stephanie M. Easy tracking overall! Pros Paylocity makes it simple and easy for me to clock in and out of work every day and track my billable hours down to the second. The tool also helps record time off requests, upcoming time off, and time off based on type (Volunteering Time vs PTO vs Sick Days, etc.). It's a simple tool that goes a long way every day to make sure that our team is paid appropriately, on time, and accurately. Cons It's down to the second, so it forces us to be on it at all times! To make any adjustments, management or upper leadership will need to go in and make the adjustments since changes are feature locked to management only. Pros An excellent platform for managing human resources in companies, the vacation management application is wonderful, many improvements have been made to it, any employee can be added to this program easily, it helps a lot in issuing and tracking data easily. Cons The customer support team should respond more quickly to customer requests, the payroll application should be improved. Cons This is a terrible system with even worse support. The only reason I haven't switched systems is because of my capacity, but I will be making it a priority to switch within the next month. The interface is terrible and they are making changes all the time. I have a rotating door of "account managers" and never get ahold of the same person twice. The system is not customizing-friendly and wants to revert back all of my changes every time they push an update. Overall - I am not pleased and would never recommend this product. Pros One of the good things about having Airbase is that you can keep track of all the expenses and make sure everything is processed and paid correctly. Use of this software makes my day a little bit easier. Pros We have a team of over 30 people, and our scheduled assignment for the day can change daily. It is great to be able to view every employee, where they are scheduled for the day, and any other important notes. The software keeps track of PTO time, hours worked, and you can even make adjustments to your time sheet. Cons There are so many features that the software is capable of, and our business does not use them all. When switching to this there was a learning curve as with any software. CEO Logistics and Supply Chain Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Paylocity has a great online portal, but their is a learning curve" August 17, 2018 4.0 I enjoy Paylocity, but their have been multiple instances that I've submitted something to my support team to take care of and it never got done, so I had to do it all manually myself. This included Schedule implementation of PTO/Sick Accrual balances, ACA reporting fixes, etc. Pros I like that Paylocity has moved us from manual time cards to an all electronic punching from a kiosk that spreads the company responsibility to managers and employees instead of relying on one person to manually calculate and monitor everything such as PTO/Sick/missed Punches/ absences/ OT rounding/ACA requirements etc. The program gives you a lot of good reporting features and processing payroll is relatively intuitive. Have very kind support staff to call and the wait time to speak with someone is very quick, unlike some other companies that I have worked with that took 45 minutes to speak with someone regarding our payroll which is time sensitive. They also do not rely on D&B ratings for Net Pay Liability Cap before requiring reverse-wires. Cons Their portal has a lot of functionality, but most of the time I am having to call the support team to check on why something didn't work/get implemented and they have to guide me through a process that was never brought up during original implementation. Some times when I request new schedules or fixes we get incorrectly billed and the fix never gets completed and no follow-up after they inform that they will look in to it further. It does everything we need, plus some, and it's an all in one portal instead of having to log into 5 or 6 different systems all the time. The employees love it also since they can access everything they need in one place as well. Pros This combines several different services together in one place. Recruiting, HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, and even benefit admin are all in one system. Using one database for all of these systems, there is no repeat of data entry, which lowers the opportunity for mistakes dramatically. The employees have access to their own profile and can make changes and view their paystubs and tax documents at their leisure. Getting rid of the multiple different service providers saved us a bunch of money at the same time. Cons Implementation of a new system always has its issues, but the implementation team for our job seemed a little inept. There were several mistakes made that took quite a bit of time (both my team's and their's) to fix. Designer Design Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Convenient and User-Friendly Payroll Software" July 21, 2021 4.0 Overall, Paylocity offers a good overall view of your performance as an employee and of your benefits. The interface is decently easy to use and the dashboards are clear and visually appealing. Pros My favorite features are the employee directory and the benefits dashboard. There is also some cool onboarding functionality that can really help your new hires get onboarded a lot faster. There are tons of functions and the interface is fairly customizable. Cons The most difficult part of Paylocity is the time-off interface. The time-off bank and history are a little confusing and take some trial and error before you can get a clear picture of your entire time-off bank. Review Source DR Donna R. It's been more than a year using PayLocity daily and I have never had an issue with my payroll. Pros Simply love it!The whole platform makes it easy to track your time worked and your PTO available.We use it daily to punch in and out every shift.We get used to it in the very first day we use it. Those can mess up a lot and there is really no room for error on those. Plus something they just get confusing. Pros Paylocity is very simple and straight forward to use, from clocking in to managing you PTO and being able to fix missed punches or message your HR. We can now onboard new employees using this system vs. the manual system we were using previously. We were also able to do away with several applications as Paylocity was able to do all of the same jobs as they were doing. This made the cost of Paylocity turn into a savings when we removed the cost of all the additional applications. Cons There have not been any cons about this software at this point. Implementation was streamlined and efficient and our team has been excited to use the new system. My only con isn't an everyday issue that many users will encounter. It was mainly my bad luck. I would highly recommend this product for those that work remotely. I love that I don't have to get to a computer to clock in and out. The app is super easy to use, a child can figure it out in a jiffy. Pros clock in / clock out from ANYWHERE Keep track of your hours with a simple click missed punch? No problem. you can fix it yourself (if your HR didn't lock you out of it that is) Impressions section: Your company can give you praises and make it public. Cons There was a time that my bank account got compromised so my direct deposit info needed to be changed. It took my HR department a long time to get my info updated and for my pay check to be sent. I work remotely so Paylocity sent my paycheck to my company's office then my company sent the pay check to me through snail mail... with bad luck usps lost the letter.... getting my paycheck processed again took an entire pay period to receive my paycheck.
