### "Good payroll platform"

is a good payroll platform. There's a few glitches and hiccups, but overall it delivers what I need.

Pros

Easy to use for employees. I like that employees has the ability to send corrections for their timecards, it gives them responsibility too for their hours, and not just the supervisor.

Cons

Pulling payroll reports for specific periods are not easy. I heard feedbacks where employees cannot login through their mobile app even if they are inside the building.

has been so easy to work with, redesign our setup and make the platform work efficiently for us an dour team. The person who originally set it up only set i tup to work for payroll. Now it works for all departments and the team!

Pros

Ease of use, many options to help our team stay connected. The fact we can run performance reviews from the system and keep track of them year after year. The way the help contact is designed makes finding answer so much easier than other platforms.

Cons

I don't have an least "like" of . Paylocity is so mobile friendly and easy to learn and use what's not to like about it compared to other systems.

Overall I really do like and would say my experience has been positive I do think they need to focus on their support model and simplify some of the configurations.

Pros

is very easy to navigate for the most part once you implement and set up. I love the recruiting platform.

Cons

The customer support is lacking, often when I need support I get a fact sheet sent to me when I could have simply found that myself.

### "Intuitive & Outstanding Customer Service"

I am extremely happy with it. I have used several other payroll/HR softwares (ADP, UltiPro) and is heads above any of them.

Pros

It is extremely intuitive, the customer suppport is awesome, and it makes compliance a breeze. HR loves the benefits module - employees can easily make their annual elections on-line.

Cons

I honestly can't think of anything that I don't like. The only thing that is a challenge, however, is writing reports - that is not intuitive.

is the first HRIS system my company has used. We have been able to establish a fantastic onboarding experience for our new hires.

Pros

Ease of use. Lots of internal training videos and instructional Peak articles. I selected because they offer enough enhancements that they can grow with my company.

Cons

Sometimes things are updated and they seem to impact other areas within . We use the enhanced benefit module and we have yet to have a smooth open enrollment.

Pros

The ease of use and view for each employee's profile in HR&Payroll. Information is easy to find and displayed neatly.

Cons

Occasionally, there are tech glitches that can take a bit to be resolved. Requires diligence with follow up. When there is an issue for spending accounts, benefits, or HR&Payroll, sometimes it can be tough to get all account managers to collaborate and deep dive the issue.

Having a Service team available was worth the switch from our previous software! When we call Service they are very patient & polite.

Pros

The Service department is very helpful & quick to respond when we call or email with any questions we have.

Cons

I cannot always find a report that has what I need. There are lots of options on the reporting, but the basic reports do not always have an option to show a certain date range.

Overall, we are very satisfied with . It fulfills the needs of a business of our size. We have looked at other providers and don't feel a need to change when the benefit to cost ratio is well met.

Pros

It is a great value, with base features provided while also adding additional features (at a cost) that other providers have but at a much greater expense. The reporting is varied and works for any situation we have encountered. I have found it easy to create any reports that were not already developed within their software. Time tracking for the staff and time approval are easy to use. If there is an issue we have a dedicated support that works with us to make any corrections

Cons

It doesn't interact with our ERP which requires us to import some of our data into . (Such as job hours and overtime for technicians) We also enter all of our commission payroll manually. To be fair some of our commissions would be a manual entry no matter the software.

No HRIS is perfect, but is pretty close! Soon after I joined my current org, the payroll administrator had a medical emergency, and I had to unexpectedly run payroll. I called support, and the rep was able to walk me through the process.

Pros

is by far the best HRIS I have used. The user interface is easy, and customer support is great.

Cons

is unable to track our PTO accurately. In addition, independent contractors who have a corporation are listed by their corporate names without anywhere to enter their individual name (therefore I have to remember that Sunshine LLC = \[sensitive content hidden\] and manually adjust that on reports if I need people's names).

it was very friendly and easy to use, the new updates I don't think meets all the compliances and end up removing some compliances' that were already in place

Pros

it was an easy to use platform, user friendly for many people to use, unless you are not too computer savvy

Cons

there is a massive amounts of marketing alerts, not something I prefer and I did not sign up for nither

The overall experience with is Satisfactory. Everything works as it should. The ACA stuff is still confusing to me.

Pros

Ease of use, the Help button, all electronic for checks and W-2s and 1095s. I pretty much taught myself how to use this software.

Cons

The implementation process was a bit confusing as some items that were to be copied over from the previous payroll software was not. Also, the ACA stuff is confusing.

As a first-time user, it has been pleasant and easy to pick up. It integrates very nicely with different systems and tools also!

Pros

I appreciate the easy-of-use, instruction guides, clear customer support, and that it is constantly innovating. The more intuitive, the better!

Cons

I feel like there are some processes that could be more streamlined or clear. For example, pulling reports isn't that straightforward - I think it's just appearance in the system. I would also love to see more ease-of-use for companies that due 401K Match calculations. This is pretty manual.

Overall, it's fine. I probably wouldn't recommend it if someone is looking for something innovative or user-friendly.

Pros

There are several features that cover a broad range of needs. I appreciate how many of the features are "a la carte" and not necessarily required to be purchased as part of a greater package.

Cons

Customer support is virtually non existent. While there are many support persons, they often act as a liaison between the client and 's (often outdated) support articles. Paylocity continuously updates their platform without updating said articles or educating their support team. I often have to ask the same question multiple times before getting an adequate response, which is usually not timely. I also find myself frustrated by all the different areas you have to go to make a singular update. It's like the different features and sections do not cross-communicate.

We've been with since 2015 and have added a few different module that have greatly benefited our company. Overall I am satisfied.

Pros

Has a wide variety of product features to fit your needs. Each module is fairly simple and easy to navigate.

Cons

At time there is a long response time to customer service email inquires. The full side affects of an implemented change are not always explained; probably because there are no many features.

This is my first time using and honestly, I wouldn't even THINK about changing payroll providers! They've been great!

Pros

Great customer service, easy to get a live representative on the phone, super responsive and solution oriented.

Cons

I've discovered that there are minor glitches in their system or maybe not always the best audit trail but nothing major.

My overall and utilization of the system is good 7.5/10. Payroll set-up was the hardest integration and working with various subject matter experts were difficult at times.

Pros

I like the ease of use of the system and my account manager is always there to support me. The functions are easy to use.

Cons

The integration was a bit problematic but did a good job to mediate the situation. I would have liked to have 1 subject matter expert on all functions that would have helped the integration.

Pros

I love that you get a dedicated account manager that can help you through your work day. Also, the system is very easy to use.

Cons

You have to know what links together in the background to make a certain parts of the system work. Once you have that down it is very user friendly.

Cons

While I have a lot of good things to say, I would like to see easy links to fill out information if I'm missing something. (ie position, I wish it would take me there to fill out).

Pros

Integrations with other systems for 401k, benefits, etc. Very easy and helpful and has been a great help when it comes to completing payroll.

Cons

The customer service. A lot of times I will call and they will be unsure of a solution. At times I will have more knowledge then the Paylocity rep and it makes it hard for a solution.

Overall I want to continue the partnership because I enjoy the platform. It is very easy to use for all levels.

Pros

is very easy to use and is good value for the money. The time and labor portal is also good.

Cons

Setup/Implementation wasn't the best and can improve customer service so that you don't get "articles" sent to customers.

Overall, I think the pros to outweigh the cons. No system is going to be perfect, but this one makes most things easy. Wish the service would catch up.

Pros

The system is truly the easiest HRIS product I've ever used. It's intuitive, most areas are easy to navigate and it makes our work days easier.

Cons

When things aren't work, customer service can truly be lacking. The support person is often the middle man between you and the people that can actually solve the problem and everyone ends up frustrated.

My employer actually switched back to as an HRIS after being in ADP. I used Paylocity at my previous company pre-acquisition and experienced no issues. Now that we switched over post-acquisition, it seems like they are less complications with managing a larger workforce and it's more user-friendly.

Pros

has a very simple portal from the employee perspective with managing both payroll and employee development functionalities like performance management.

Cons

The SSO function sometimes causes trouble logging in. I've had to save an email with the unique SSO link to navigate directly into the portal with SSO.

Pros

The ease and simplicity to run payroll. The team loves the ability to enter expenses as they incur them but not submit until the month end. Love that you also have great training videos for onboarding new hires without me having to go to another source.

Cons

The change to the way the PTO requests come in via email. They used to tell you notes the employee put in such as a note stating only a half day or full day. The emails no longer do this and therefor that is an extra step for me to open to see prior to going to the department supervisor for approval.
