Great customer support, great documentation and a freephone number. What more could you like? Pros This is just a snapshot of the list of features and each one of these were a definite pro for us - to have all of them in the one package really ramped up our ability to save time and make money. No one likes doing "paperwork" but to be able to use ComputerEase and have it all in the cloud and easily accessable was a dream come true for the company I advised to use this. They are very happy with it, and so am I. Controller Construction Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Ah-ma-zing" June 7, 2017 5.0 I have been using this software since 2000. It is amazing. I've also used Quickbooks, Sage, Peachtree. They all have nothing on ComputerEase. I'm trying to convince my new employer to take a look at it as I know it will work for him way better than Quickbooks. Change is scary sometimes. ComputerEase may look intimidating in the beginning, but give yourself time to get to know it and you'll never stray. Pros Payroll, Project Management, Inventory - all of it. Of all the accounting programs I've tried, this one is the one I will stick with. Cons Nothing yet. Sometimes it can be a little difficult for people within your company to accept change, but it's not hard to use. Pros Software interface was very user friendly and easy to set up multiple databases for individual companies in a group. Report functionality was very detailed for job costing. Some jobs you want more detail and others not so much. You choose by job what info you want to track. It is great for small companies as you don't have to use all the features to get the info you want. You choose which modules you want and only pay for those and not others you don't need. Pros Practice company makes it easy to see if a journal entry etc. affects accounts as you thought it would do without changing anything in the live company. Review Source MT Margaret T. Scheduling Manager Construction Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Do not use this software if you can avoid it!" January 4, 2017 1.0 It's format is still DOS - like in the late 80's before we all switched to the windows format. All this software did was remove the use of the F1-10 keys and replace it with a double click. It shuts our printer down and locks it into an internal loop at which point we have to turn off the computer and the printer, wait - repower everything and try again. Ever so often it decides to print the payroll checks backwards and other inconvient things like that. I suppose it is better than no software and is also cheaper than the better written programs for this industry. I guess you get what you pay for. It appears to be a problem with the printer rather than your software. Either way, we are always eager to help in any way we can. Let’s get in touch and see if we can figure out what’s causing that issue. We have to disagree with the assessment that our system is still in DOS format. We haven’t used anything close to DOS in decades. In fact, in the last couple of years we released a complete overhaul of our system’s user interface, adding custom workflow functionality with a lean, modern design. April 28, 2017 4.0 Pros ComputerEase is extremely flexible and can be built to run just about any type of business. We use it for construction, engineering, controls and manufacturing. It is extremely trustworthy and will produce exactly what is needed. From both the job management and cost accounting, ComputerEase has proved to be exactly what we needed. I have no regrets moving to this software. Cons Virtually none. The only feature I would like to be added would be to be able to tell who performed certain actions, an audit trail. May 25, 2018 3.0 Pros It came with several reports that were handy to use. Initial set up support was good. They could import your info, which I would suggest doing. May 24, 2016 5.0 Pros ComputerEase is distributed and served by Target Systems in our region. Our rep was with us from implementation, and throughout our use. She knew the software inside and out and was always easy to contact and very helpful. The software itself was intuitive, easy to use, and had all the features we needed as a medium-sized insulation company. It was very useful with our union, even with several locals. I was pleasantly surprised at how much we liked using ComputerEase, as it was not at all expensive. I definitely recommend this for a small to medium-sized construction company. Pros Integration with our estimating software and ease of use. Has capabilities for some operations within our organization that don't hinder growth or expansion. Cons Without advancements, equipment costing is not robust enough for us to continue the use of this software and Computerease does not appear to putting effort into building this module. In fact they have renamed it "Fleet and Assets". My job involves alot of report making and Qtools is useful for quickly pulling information out of the system. Cons The biggest annoyance I have with ComputerEase is the inability to make custom Excel templates for all types of reports. Pros This software is easy to use and it helps your company to improve your existing process and there customer service is so great , they teach you things that you may not know step by step also they has also the answers on your problems .They know there product well. Cons there is no way you can directly export your works to Microsoft excel and in terms of scheduling its better to use MS project maybe limiting some field in 10 words also make it hard to use. Pros Like I said in the title ComputerEase have all the kind of reports that a business need for running its business , Every kind of reports that my boss requested I can provide it easy using Computerease and there tech support is so great ! Cons It is just lock of features of finding for numbers or money signs etc, and preparing your reports is not a robust like the other product and you need to open multiple windows for creating a single transaction. Used the software for: ### "Be Careful" December 20, 2016 1.0 Demo is not representative of full product. After purchase during setup we realized the application would not live up to the sales pitch. We did not complete the setup or receive the full product. Support was abysmal. Computer Ease says - No refund. Fine print says Computer Ease not responsible for claims made by sales representatives. The timing on Walter Hill¿s purchase of ComputerEase was clearly difficult for your company, and we can see how the high turnover at your company at the same time a new software program was being implemented would be frustrating to you. Our main contact at Walter Hill Plumbing left the company before the implementation process started, which certainly didn¿t help. We¿d still be more than happy to help you clear up the confusion and get up and running if things have settled down. We do offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. In this case, our records indicate that while you still have the software, we never received full payment. If you¿d like to reopen the issue with us, we¿d be happy to. Finally, we don't see where our fine print says \`ComputerEase not responsible for claims made by sales representatives.¿ We take our integrity very seriously, so please tell us what section gave you that idea. Used the software for: ### "" April 10, 2013 5.0 We are an excavation company who has expanded into many different divisions such as pipelining, clearning and grubbing, earthwork, utility, erosion and sedimentation, boring, rental, trucking, and mechanics. Before using ComputerEase, we were using Quickbooks. ComputerEase gives us a better idea of how each division is doing money wise; which division is costing us money and which is making the money. We used to have to create several spreadsheets on Excel, and now we have eliminated many of those. Learning how to use the software was a little difficult because it was different than Quickbooks, but thats with anything new. Their support system is quick to return phone calls that are put in for support questions. We also started using the payroll module with ComputerEase and are having ComputerEase file our taxes for us. We were entering payroll several times since we use to use ADP for our outside payroll company. All that is done now is the payroll gets directly entered into ComputerEase; once its entered, ComputerEase logs into the computer and gathers all the information entered, prints the checks, and sends all the information that is posted from the payroll. Pros I like the quickness and the ease of use. IT is very easy to navigate. I love how quick it opens and closes and how reports are also generated very quickly. Cons The only glitch that I found is the complication in the paid versus unpaid invoices. There should be a report that shows you both for reconciliation purposes. Review Source BL Boris L.
