Manager, Advancement Information Services Used the software for: ### "Sisense provides a straightforward path to sharing dashboards" December 22, 2015 4.0 We wanted a way to use our CRM's built in security schema to drive how we share our dashboards/visualizations. Sisense's "anonymous" login in feature allowed us to do that by letting us embed dashboards within the CRM framework. This feature also allowed us to be able to share the dashboards on a public webpage just as easily. I found Sisense free of the clutter of user names, accounts and security options that we did not need and were trying to avoid with a BI product. It also provided crisp, clean visuals which I felt were lacking in some of the other products. It's been a perfect fit for our operation. Review Source NA Nacer A. Before Sisense we wrote queries to pull data, which is not very time efficient. With Sisense we could query data much faster and do lots of ad hoc analysis. Also worth to mention that Sisense allows to create custom table/field that gives us more capability to do advanced analysis. And the customer service is fantastic. Cons: Sisense doesn't have connections with statistical packages like R and SAS. Pros Easy to use, possible to customize features and visualizations, good processing power, helpful customer service Cons Little out-of-the-box functionalities compared to other data visualization tools, Elasticube is very old and limited to SQL expressions. From a usability standpoint it is just as good as many others, however it doesn't appear to be quite as easy to set up on the back end as some of the other tools I've used. But, Sisense is very User friendly, making it easy to learn and start producing dashboard rather quickly. I am often asked to run reports through Sisense as general queries will choke SQL servers. Pros This software is easy to use and using their elasticube it makes the data query very quickly, which is a huge bonus. Cons It is a pretty pricey solution, but I think it is worth the money. But it is already clear that Sisense is the all-round champion in the following areas. 1. Ease of use for end user 2. Ease of implementation by SA and DBA 3. Innovative back-end that delivers scalebility and performance 4. Great framework that empowers developers to write custom widgets or custom applications, and 5.
