Quick connections to end users and great computer control.

Pros

The user GUI is very easy to use and very well organized. The controls are are presented very well and logically. Connecting to my end users is so easy. The end user experience is also great.

Cons

There are really no issues that i have found when working on the Windows Side of the hardware. I would like to see a richer experience working with mobile devices.

Best thing I like the most is using bomgar for remote support to customer and it's screen sharing functionalty allows us to interact with user effectivly.

Cons

On older machines software does not work effectivly.

Pros

LOVE the ability to have customer support from Dentrix remote in quickly and easily to fix or look at issues I am having. Privacy protection of my non-important applications is blocked. Review screen pops up quickly when done too which is nice

Cons

Nothing that I can think of. Profile pictures may be a nice addition to the program so we can see who is on the remote in.

Bomgar is super user-friendly and extremely easy to learn... I love it on that level!

Pros

Sometimes a customer just doesn't get it... It is what it is! Bomgar has made it easy to help them in a way that feels trustworthy to all involved.

Cons

As with any software, sometimes Bomgar feels glitchy. I don't always have luck with the drag/drop feature.

I love it- use it mostly to communicate with my IT people who are hundreds of miles away.

Pros

What’s not to love about this software? My favorite part is the simplicity of it. For both staff that need the assistance and the one providing the assistance, there is no way to make an error.

Cons

Honestly I can’t think of anything except that once in a great while it might lag while connecting.

Overall I would recommend this software, as it performed all the functions we needed it too fairly consistently.

Pros

We used this program for remote support for about a year and it was very easy to use and was reliable. I enjoyed the ability to share your screen, which allowed to either provide additional explanation or receive it when having technical difficulty. It was very helpful during COVID in supporting students remotely. Last, the chat feature is a very helpful tool.

Cons

The customer support is lacking and the software is moderately to highly priced. On occasion, my session would hang up or completely drop.

Overall using Bomgar has been positive and customers are able to show me bugs in real time, which is worth a lot. I'd recommend using the product.

Pros

This has been helpful in solving many issues. On an app my company built. Customers can reproduce the issue in real time as we watch what they are doing.

Cons

At times it can be a little "buggy" meaning, sometimes it doesn't render the image properly.

Overall, a great product that does what is says - so what else can ask for?

Pros

Ease of use to get a ticket and connect - this allows one to get to the problem right away and get things fixed in a hurry.

Cons

The first and maybe second time using the software is a bit confusing for new users. A cheat sheet on how to get up and running would be helpful and reduce the stress of getting connected and having your problem fixed

The most thing that I like about this software is that it allows me to screen share with the customers in order to guide them through troubleshooting.

Bomgar replaced older less secure methods of Remote Desktop management that we were previously using. We use it daily to help our end users with various computer problems. Overall it’s been a good investment.

Pros

The ability to connect to users computer remotely from any where. The various ways to connect. Ability to monitor each console.

Cons

Can be cumbersome to use. The training could be a little more in depth.

A very safe and efficient tool as an option for tracking access too good. A positive highlight is its light action of processing access and low internet bandwidth usage. Like any remote access tool, this also has its negative points, it does not have a history of accesses after 30 days, therefore, we are unable to trace the past.

It got the job done, just bit disappointed with it visually, other than that it was good tool to use.

Pros

I used this software to allow access for external consultants onto our infrastructure. Not a standard application that I have come across, but It was easy to setup and use.

Cons

The GUI seems a little dated, some work could definitely go into making it a lot more easier on the eye.

I dislike the way this is enabled, it does not work well on mac at all, and i think there need to be enhancements to the product still.

\- Just being able to hop on an end-user's device to troubleshoot makes the whole process so much easier. - Showing the end-user what you're doing without hunching over their device in-person

\- When I was using this tool a few years ago, I recall the process to gain access to the end-user's machine was extensive and confusing to the end-user at times

What I like most is that it works precisely like it should, which is associate me to office clients so I can deal with PC issues remotely. When I am associated, I am ready similarly as getting to another PC. I like that it goes through an online interface for usability when I am not specifically associated with our system.

Cons

I cherish every little thing about it, however Id like to probably exchange documents between bounce customers so I dont need to download to my nearby machine, and afterward exchange to the next customer.

Overall, it is a great tool to fix end user's computer issue that hard to describe. It is easier for IT staff to jump into end user's computer using Bomgar. Quick to provide the solution.

Easy to use, quick to jump in. End users cannot describe the issues that they face. It is easier for IT staff to see what is going on in their end.

Cons

I would recommend to make easier to share my own screen to users rather than sending a link to open.
