IT uses it to access my machine. Customer Service dept uses it to remote into customer machines.

Pros

This software makes it easy to let someone remotely access my computer.

Cons

I have not used it enough to find a con. so far it has met all of my needs.

Pros

IT was easy for the technology helpdesk to take control of my laptop to assist me in saving my project files. The security features and control provided gave me confidence that access was only to the resource that requested it.

Cons

The ending session message for control took longer to end than wanted.

Overall it is good, secure and fast. I will recommend to all to use it.

Pros

1) bomgar allows us to take control Other’s computer to troubleshoot the issues. 2) we can access other’s system’s files from anywhere using bomgar. 3) it provides reliable connection which allows to securely resolve the issues. 4) this is easy to download and run.

Cons

Sometimes we need to connect it again and again and give permission many times as connection gets fail due to some unknown reasons.

Allows me to do my job effectively without necessarily having to be onsite.

Pros

I liked the ability to either get onto a user's computer and help diagnose the problems with software without having to travel to fix the problem. Additionally, while onsite, I was able to get more technical help from our team while navigating the software to places the user wouldn't know how to do.

Cons

Occasionally you would lose connection or have to get through a company firewall. However, that is not Bomgar's issue as much as it is Security or internet connection.

Pros

The software is actually pretty good. I was skeptical at first. But now it seems to be good and works well.

Cons

I think sometimes the wait period is too high. Although it is acceptable due to everything being cyber. overall its good.

Super simple to use, especially for people with little experience

Pros

Very simple to use, the connection time is adequate as it is based on your internet speed. I find it very intuitive .

Cons

It looks a bit dated, and it has just the basics to go by on a connection to other computers, even though it is robust the user interface it's not very appealing.

We solve everyday kinks in the system and big internal errors all of the time with this form of communication. It connects us to the right person to get the problem corrected every time.

Pros

I love that its simply a click of a button and tech support is right there with a live person to get your problems taken care of.

Cons

Not much I don't like about this software. I imagine it could be a little faster at response time but that is with a lot of things.

Ability to remotely connect to clients and save travel expenses. In addition, the ability to select specific data for transfer can help speed up large data transfers between sites.

Pros

The wide range of customers open to using Bomgar for secure remote connection for troubleshooting was a major benefit for using this as the primary tool for customer support of external (and internal) clients.

Cons

While the software was pricey, the quality and features made up for the investment. The user interface is cumbersome at times, but after a few uses it is not a major drawback. For clients who already selected a tool for remote connection, they were reluctant to use Bomgar and pushed for their method of choice which might have already been validated internally.

In the many years we have been on the receiving end of Remote Support the only problem that was not able to be solved remotely was an actual hardware failure that needed to be physically replaced.

Pros

We use a remote IT support team, and that company uses Bomgar to connect to our machines when necessary to address any issues we are having. It's been excellent.

Cons

My only issue is when using the remote access where our IT support has taken over my machine, I have to wrest control of my cursor (and interrupt what he's doing) in order to talk with him in the chat box.

Pros

It made remotely accessing someone's computer easy enough. The installation process was simple enough that most users did not have trouble navigating to the site, downloading it and installing it. Being able to chat with a user and then request remote desktop permissions was useful as well.

Cons

The design leaves a lot to be desired, and could certainly be improved.

Pros

Bomgar is a really good tool that the support team uses to remote access the customer's server. It is intuitive to use and easy to train the team on how to use.

Cons

As with any software, this has gone down a few times. That had put us in a poor position for support when we required support to get this back up

Remote support is I think the biggest one now. It saved my time and efforts.

Pros

This remote software is a really easy way to access any system which is far away. Troubleshooting is not a tough task of giving instructions to client to solve his issue now. With this software your time will be saved.

Cons

In reality, I don't dislike anything in this software. I found everything great and when I will find something which will need improvement, I will write about it.
