My overall experience with BeyondTrust Remote Support has been easy, reliable and convenient.

Pros

Beyond trust is a reliable shadowing tool. Very up to date and easy for users and end users to use. I love the key generation feature and ready link to quickly share with the end user during support.

Cons

At this time, their are no complaints has the application provides I expected.

Overall it is not the most conducive for remote workers dependent on connecting to remote desktops. The screens are very difficult to align between host and client desktop.

Pros

I like most that it is web-based VPN portal that is more than just a VPN client - but also supports applets for applications

Cons

The system is very poor in managing Remote Desktop screen resolutions.

I use Bomgar on daily basis for the past 3 years. As an IT manager/lead, a live chat monitoring feature is required

Ease of use for analysts & users Remote in feature Machine control feature User machine access elevation feature Reverse screen share & granting control feature Chat/session transfer/invite feature Session automatically reconnects if customer machine reboots quickly

No option for live chat monitoring as a team manager Only access is full machine monitoring access

It is a great tool and is easy to use and to teach the end user how to connect and how to create a temporary connection to the third party and how to check the logs and records to find out what happened on that connection. It is a super recommended tool.

Pros

What I like most about BeyondTrust is the ability to control remote connections and have continuos monitoring of who is using the tool and their behavior when the remote connection is established.

Cons

Sometimes when the remote connections are delays or have networking problems the ability to copy and paste is interrumped. It is needed to create a new remote connection to use the funtionality to copy and paste from the source or the destination.

Its reliable and secure, with great features like session recording and cross-platform compatibility. While it can be a bit pricey and complicated to set up, it’s definitely worth it for teams needing strong remote support capabilities.

Pros

Its easy to use and super secure. The session recordings and reports are helpful, and it works well across platforms. It’s reliable and gets the job done.

Cons

Its bit pricey, especially for smaller teams. The setup process can be a bit complicated, and it took time to fully integrate with other tools.

Pros

It's a good product for being CJIS compliant, the biggest reason why we chose it. It's secure and mostly does what we need it to go.

Cons

Taking screenshots and recordings like with ScreenConnect would be nice. Ways to display multiple monitors and transferring files would also be nice. Sometimes it does not accept admin credentials even though we know they are correct, especially Entra credentials

Overall it is a great service and i would highly recommend it to anyone looking for easy ways to use remote support

Pros

The ease off access. You can clearly see every feature straight on the homepage. It is also very secure and overall one of the best remote support software I have used.

Cons

The thing i liked the least was sometimes it is unable to see what computer is turnt on but that is solved by a simple restart of the software

It's been good! It works well and seems to have good performance.

Pros

Allows for anyone in our IT security services to access and help our vast network of engineers. This allows our IT department to be decentralized, and our engineers to be decentralized as well.

Cons

Communicating while remote access is difficult. We end up using a separate chat system to communicate while troubleshooting.
