Pros: Ease of use. Seamless integration throughout modules. They listen to the needs of their clients. Their continued dedication to improving and growing their product. Their training team is extremely knowledgeable. Support is always available.

Cons: The report writing capability has improved quite a bit over the years, but I would like to see it continue to grow.

Overall: The ability to provide my GM, Finance Committee and Board with accurate and timely data.

Northstar has and is doing a great job... I like that they are improving and enhancing the product

Pros: Northstar is very user friendly, great accounting/back office software, stable database, very good canned reports, has integrated modules
Customer support is very good

Cons: Northstar needs to create a better report writer or maybe be able to interface with a report writer that is already in the market.

Overall: Better Financial Management of the Club

Great Support staff and flexible functions to meet our needs.

Pros: Flexible to create reports that meet our needs. Support responds to issues in a timely manner. Nice to have a single software for POS, back office and website.

Cons: We would like to see work order management. Integration with our gate hardware and access control software would be nice to maintain one data base.

This software does less for me as a club member than our old software.

Pros: It's a single system so you don't have to integrate with disparate systems. In other words, the tee sheet, dinner reservations, tennis reservations etc all integrate directly with accounting from go.

Cons: Unfortunately not all the component pieces are well thought out. In particular the golf side leaves much to be desired and is not as functional for golfing members as many other products are. Also the user interface, while nice, still is not stable and Northstar's constant adjustment of their base css has created problems for my club.

Overall: None, actually, the utility of our club's website has diminished.
