August 6, 2025 4.0 I have enjoyed creating solutions for our organization, and would recommend Rise Vision to anyone needing a practical approach to communicating through TV screens. Pros Very easy to setup and configure. The interface is simple once you understand that the workflow can take several different approaches, non or which are wrong. Cons The interface is a little lacking as a content creator, so it's important that you have access to a good image creation solution like PhotoShop to aid in creating pixel perfect layouts. Pros We use Rise Vision at our school to display our concessions menu, event information, and photos from student activities and athletic events. Overall, it has been a very positive experience. The platform is intuitive and easy to use, which makes updating content simple and efficient. In a busy school setting, being able to quickly adjust event details or menu items is a huge benefit. The premade templates are especially helpful. They save time and give our displays a professional look without requiring design experience. We also appreciate the flexibility of the system. I had high hopes but as I continued to use the software, I noticed slight issues that I had with the software. This is just personal preference and should be taken as that. Pros The only pro that I found when using RIseVision was that their team was very helpful and willing to answer any questions. I liked using their software, however, I felt there were easier options. Cons Creating content was not user friendly and was time consuming. I would recommend using Canva or another form of content creation app to make content and upload instead. Cost works for our school district - best we could find anywhere! Easy to use and maintain. Would like to see a few additional features that would assist with content management, but overall extremely happy! Watch out - you lose access to a lot of great content if working through Apple TVs. Pros Ease of use and bountiful templated content. They are always releasing new content for focus months and holidays. The automatically updating content is cool! Cons Limited edit capability for some templates, especially those already tailored to a specific holiday. Compatibility with Apple TVs is a minus. You are not able to use a lot of great content because it will not play on Apple TVs. You also lose live broadcast capability because of Apple TVs. It's so robust and the website makes it so easy to use. We also use a combincation of Google Slides/videos/photos and it's supporting all that and a lot more. Pros It made managing the digital signage across our different school branches a breeze. It is something that was a pain to do before. Cons Nothing, I don't remember any time we had an issue with it. Actually even when power goes off and screens shut down, it will send an email notification and we go and turn the TV back on. Everyone seems to enjoy it that has had the opportunity to use it. As a rural school trying to get things like digital signage to take off is sometimes complicated. Using Rise we have had all campuses buy in and request more displays. Pros I really appreciate how Rise Vision simplified getting information onto our displays and put everything under one management system. It allows us to micromanage down to different departments, who can then control the displays in their area. Most of our employees have been able to easily take hold of the built-in templates and edit them. The integration with Canvas was especially beneficial for our school district. Overall, it’s been the ease of use that stands out to us, and the initial setup was quick and easy. Cons The back end portal could use a little bit of reconfiguration. We use it to display school announcements and special event information across TVs, and it’s been a reliable, straightforward tool for getting timely information in front of students and staff. The platform is easy to set up and the day-to-day management is smooth, so we can update screens quickly without needing a lot of training or troubleshooting. Pros We use Rise Vision for displaying announcements and special events at our school, and I really like how easy it is to set up and manage slides. The pre-made templates are great because they help us create content quickly. It's very user-friendly in terms of displaying content in various ways, which makes it efficient to set up information for students on TVs in a fast and easy manner. I also appreciate the better support and the extensive features Rise Vision offers compared to what we used before. The initial setup was really easy for us, and the whole experience has been smooth. Cons We would like to have more permissions for users or a way to group users to only see select things. We've had others that are internet driven but never as fluid as Risevision is, pictures are crisp and clear and videos show in an aray of resolutions. Pros When it comes to speed and ease of use, Risevision got us online and displaying in no time. We display everything from movie trailers, local advertising, showtimes and menu boards for our cafe. The ability to schedule different dayparts is gamechanging. We found just the time savings alone samed us money each month. We are able to cusomize our videos for trailers and ads and the resolution on our giant 60'x80' movie screen is amazing. Cons We have never ran into a negative about risevision, I can control it from anywhere in the world with an easy to use dashboard. July 9, 2025 5.0 The software is easy to learn and manage. It is a great way for us to publish conetnt on TV screens across our university campus. The few times we had questions, thier support was very quick to help us out. Pros It is very versatile software that runs on a wide variety of hardware ranging from Windows, Mac, Rasberry Pi, Android Apple TV and even Linux. It can display almost any kind of conent, from pitures, PDFs, Office documents, web content, videos, etc. It can be centrally managed so that you don't need to touch every dispaly. There are many nifty templates that you can customize. Also, they provide fantastic customer support. Whenever we have a question, they do an excellent job of helping us out. Cons Because the software is so versatile, there is a bit of a learning curve at first. But the software is not difficult to learn at all. Also, we have manly sub-companies in our orgainizatoin. Unfortunately it requires an additional paid upgrade to be able to easily publish across different sub-companies. But that is a very minor complaint. Logging in from anywhere in the country and being able to control signage at any location is great. Cons There is nothing in particular I dislike about it. For my needs, it checks all the boxes. I guess I wish they had customer support by phone. Support requires emailing. Responses are usually pretty quick, but it would be nice to get phone support when needed. Pros Everything is easy to use and real helps with creativity! Allowing multiple teachers to add content ensures all information is covered and cross referenced. Cons The app, risevision players are much better but costly. We attempt to use smart TV's with the app only but many kept kicking off or back to the home screen. The support staff are very friendly and always helpful. Cons No cons. At first there were the device had a hard time staying connected to the network. It took one call, and email, and about a week when I saw significant improvement. The developers came through and solved my issue right away. From an IT perspective, the platform has been reliable and easy to manage, and just as importantly, it’s intuitive enough that teachers and office staff can update content without needing technical help. That has made a big difference in keeping displays current and useful across our schools. Support has also been consistently excellent—responses are quick, helpful, and genuinely focused on solving the issue. Overall, Rise Vision has been a solid, user-friendly solution that works well for both IT and non-technical staff. Pros It is easy to both set up and use. It comes with many slide templates. The management portal is easy to use and extremely handy if any issues come up. Their service is the benchmark for everyone else in the industry. Pros The ability to alter screens on one computer, at any location. Their help desk is the best I have ever witnessed in a business where they respond within 15 minutes. Cons Some of their templates are not as user friendly. As a designer, that likes to control everything, using the blank template is my go to template, but it is difficult to use for text. I like how user-friendly the system is, allowing for content customization on when to display items, like weekly or on certain days and times. It enables collaboration across campus by letting us see other departments' ideas, display different content types such as static designs or videos, and provides helpful template ideas. I also integrate Rise Vision with Canva for designs and Campus Labs for event publishing. Pros I like how user-friendly Rise Vision is. I really like how it allows me to customize when I'd like to display items, like weekly, on certain days, or times. I also like how it supports different types of content display, such as static designs or videos, and the provided template ideas are super helpful.
