It has helped us keep our guests informed, sell more tickets, and maintain a polished image across all our displays. Delegation Features That Empower Staff The permission and delegation system is exactly what a district environment needs. Outstanding Training and Support I've been particularly impressed by RiseVision's training materials and support resources. The documentation is comprehensive, the video tutorials are clear and to-the-point, and their support team has been responsive on the rare occasions we've needed help. When rolling out the system district-wide, I was able to train building staff quickly using their existing resources. That kind of support infrastructure makes all the difference when you're implementing technology at scale. Cons Our users STILL need to be trained to use it. Would like to see a few additional features that would assist with content management, but overall extremely happy! Watch out - you lose access to a lot of great content if working through Apple TVs. Pros Ease of use and bountiful templated content. They are always releasing new content for focus months and holidays. The automatically updating content is cool! Cons Limited edit capability for some templates, especially those already tailored to a specific holiday. Compatibility with Apple TVs is a minus. You are not able to use a lot of great content because it will not play on Apple TVs. You also lose live broadcast capability because of Apple TVs. It’s widely used in schools but is also suitable for businesses and advertising. The platform provides frequent, quick, and practical training sessions that consistently add value. However, uploading slides and adding them to presentations can feel clunky due to refresh delays, and editing premade templates is limited—text boxes and images cannot be repositioned. More education-focused templates and enhanced editing flexibility would improve the experience. Pros RiseVision creates quality engaging displays that can be set to times and speeds. It auto updates certain ones daily to display jokes, historical facts, quotes, weather, the date, etc. It produces a very professional looking slideshow that is used in our school, but would also be a great application for businesses and ads. There are opportunities for trainings frequently and they are quick and useful, I always leave with a new tool or skill. Cons It is a little clunky to upload slides and add to the slideshow, requiring a refresh or lag time for the website to refresh before moving to the next step. It also doesn't allow you to move around text boxes or images when you are editing a premade template. We've had others that are internet driven but never as fluid as Risevision is, pictures are crisp and clear and videos show in an aray of resolutions. Pros When it comes to speed and ease of use, Risevision got us online and displaying in no time. We display everything from movie trailers, local advertising, showtimes and menu boards for our cafe. The ability to schedule different dayparts is gamechanging. We found just the time savings alone samed us money each month. We are able to cusomize our videos for trailers and ads and the resolution on our giant 60'x80' movie screen is amazing. Cons We have never ran into a negative about risevision, I can control it from anywhere in the world with an easy to use dashboard. Everyone seems to enjoy it that has had the opportunity to use it. As a rural school trying to get things like digital signage to take off is sometimes complicated. Using Rise we have had all campuses buy in and request more displays. Pros I really appreciate how Rise Vision simplified getting information onto our displays and put everything under one management system. It allows us to micromanage down to different departments, who can then control the displays in their area. Most of our employees have been able to easily take hold of the built-in templates and edit them. The integration with Canvas was especially beneficial for our school district. Overall, it’s been the ease of use that stands out to us, and the initial setup was quick and easy. Cons The back end portal could use a little bit of reconfiguration. Pros It made managing the digital signage across our different school branches a breeze. It is something that was a pain to do before. Cons Nothing, I don't remember any time we had an issue with it. Actually even when power goes off and screens shut down, it will send an email notification and we go and turn the TV back on. Pros Rise Vision is an extremely user-friendly remote system for managing signage across multiple locations. Since it operates through a browser, making updates is straightforward: you simply edit your presentation, publish it, and the changes are reliably pushed out to all connected devices. Setting up the unit was fast and uncomplicated—we just plugged it in and it was ready to go. The premade templates offered by Rise Vision are not only easy to customize but also add variety to presentations without being overwhelming. If none of the provided templates fit your needs, it's easy to create your own, import one from Canva, or use a Google Slides presentation. The scheduling feature is especially valuable, making it possible to plan different presentations in advance, which is a huge convenience. Our staff can prepare and update content ahead of time and make quick changes as needed. Pros Easy to learn how to use the product. A significant amount of templates to choose from and the easy ability to suggest new templates. Being able to input my companies colors and logos into the product really made customize the different templates so much easier and quicker. We have the screens playing 24/7 on both Amazon Firesticks as well as the RiseVision Media Players. It is an easy system to teach someone who is not great with technology to use. It is easy to set up various presentations to switch for displays. Pros Rise Vision is very easy to use. The templates are very useful, containing every type you may need. The site seems very secure, which for a school is very important. We had other systems that were not as good. RiseVision fit the bill very nicely, and included features for us to be able to display some internal web applications as well. Pros Has every feature we'd want, simple intuitive interface, lots of support options for small IT departments that don't have time to figure out hardware issues and need to keep things online. Rollout was easy with a pilot unit and plenty of test runway. Pretty set it and forget it. Cons We only have 20 displays, but I imagine working with a huge number of displays could get cumbersome. Switched from [Mvix Digital Signage](https://www.capterra.com/p/123169/XhibitSignage/) Mvix didn't have options for hardware-as-a-service, lacking in support, was constantly having displays that needed to be factory reset or have the linux file system restored, and didn't have a crucial feature we were looking for to display custom metrics from our own databases. Pros Ease of use, being able to separate buildings and departments while having each account under the same "umbrella" has made things easier when it comes time to renew. Notifications when a system is offline. The templates make it easy to create slides, or pages to display quickly on the fly. Customer support is quick to respond to anything that needs troubleshooting, but I've only needed that once in 2 years, and that was for a hardware issue unrelated, but they still assisted! Cons Honestly, I haven't found anything to disklike. If I had a suggestion, I would say to add a Dark mode for the portal.
